Review: Excellent value - This was an awesome find offering a solution to my failing sensors for my 2011 Chrysler 200 convertible limited (18โ alloys). I called around before buying these since I was worried if they donโt work what will I do to return them. They are so much cheaper, like two to four times cheaper than anywhere else! Only rock auto came close. Napa and advanced auto should be ashamed of themselves. Discount tire was the most charging a Benjamin to install plus over two times what desertcart was selling these for in parts. They came in the mail today. I took the car to my local mechanic who charged just ten bucks to install on each wheel. Three start / stop cycles and about five miles later all was working. The little yellow light went off and I got a PSI readout at each tire. So pleased with them right now. Iโll be sure to update if they fail prematurely. Review: So far so good - Was time to buy new tires for my 9-year old Dodge and since tire pressure sensors only have a ~10 year lifespan replacing the original sensors seemed appropriate. However, I find TPMS kind of annoying and unnecessary so I wasn't inclined to spend full shot for OEM sensors, so I decided to give these a try. If they worked, great. If not, I didn't spend a huge amount of money on them so I wouldn't be overly upset. The sensors all installed fine and none of the valves leak. These come out-of-the-box ready to work with Chrysler vehicles, which don't require any extra programming to "marry" TPMS sensors to the car. The car does this automatically...in theory anyway. Sure enough, after driving the car a few miles with the new tires mounted, the TPMS light went out on the dash, so the sensors are all working correctly. We'll see how these hold up over the long haul but so far, so good!

Don't let the dealership fool you!
I checked the pricing at the Kia Dealership for the TPS for a 2013 Kia optima turbo and couldn't believe the quote the gave me. Kia wanted $57 for each sensor, I needed all 4 and $330 to program them. The clerk that does the appointment was just a bit to smug, so I can imagine that they get away with this scam way too often. Amazon had what I was looking for at a great price. I checked with a couple of small places that change tires and was told that it would cost me $45 to program them. The one that I chose to do the work installed the sensors but could not find my vehicle in their program. Turns out that was a good thing because after driving 3 miles they kicked in on their own!

If you want to save $$$
Bought this knowing it I couldn't do it myself, but I didn't want to pay the high dealer price for the same thing. I Amazon gave a recommendation based on my vehicle (hyundai) . I bought a box of 4 units (1 per tire) and took it to Pepboys to have them install it for me. I saved alot of $$$ compared to the dealer prices. Works just as good (been on for over a month), the shop didn't give me any hassles. I say a great product at an excellent price.

Cheap don't buy, these work for awhile but....
These worked for awhile but now the "service tire pressure system" read out keeps coming on. I took my car back to where I had the sensors installed to have them check it out and make sure they were programed to the car properly. The tire shop reprogrammed just to be sure but the problem presists. The tire shop guys said they see this problem a lot with these cheaper sensors, they work for a bit but then they start having issues. I'll be ordering top quality /OEM equivalent ones to replace these. Hopefully those will work much better. To bad it cost me the $60 for the plus the install to figure out that they're crap.

Could be better
Installed and programmed easily. After 11 months, one of the sensors broke at the valve stem and needed immediate replacing.

Replaced Original sensors works great
On a Jeep Wrangler, replaced the original sensors that the batteries had died on (age). Was able to purchase 4 sensors at the price the local auto shop wanted for one. Local Tire shop installed sensors in 30 mins and they came preprogrammed so the tire sensor light turned off in less than 1 mile. Great value - was able to replace 5 sensors and install for less than the dealer wanted to charge for one tire. Have had for several months and had no issues with the sensors. Will do the same on other vehicles as the sensor batteries die
