KIDZ BOP 24

Nothing like the real thing but for "some" kids, it's OK.
I'm a fan of allowing my son to listen to music as it was recorded but face it, allowing a 9 year old to listen to Macklemore unfiltered is just asking for trouble. If it weren't for the fact that these kids are actually talented, I'd probably take my chances of just allowing him to download the real song and risk getting a note sent home from a teacher from something inappropriate he's repeated. I'm not a fan of how they change the lyrics to be so overly sanitized but that aspect of it makes it rather funny. Still, I can't wait until I feel he's mature enough to handle swearing and other words in songs. KB, however, does a good job of making current music kid-friendly.

Excellent
I bought one of these in the store, then 4 more on Amazon and now I have bought the rest of the series. These are great. My grandkids dance to these and I find the music as sung by kids to be cheerful and different than my other music. They are also easier to hear then the original songs, which I also have, because the kids' voices seem clearer. I also like the fact that these don't have swear words in them, which really don't add much to the originals, anyway. The music accompaniment is very clearly recorded too. I am a 60 year old man, but these songs work for me.

Fun cd
These songs are great! Some of the most popular songs, such as Thrift Shop, Feel This Moment, Scream & Shout, Girl on Fire, and more are all kid-friendly. Well done!

Didn't Want To Like It But I Do!
My son REALLY wanted Kids Bop 24 for his birthday. I had seen the commercials but I have a thing about songs being changed and wasn't hip on the whole idea. After getting it downloaded onto the mp3 player I decided I should listen to it to make sure everything was downloaded correctly.I have to eat my words! The kids can really sing and do an excellent job. Also since my son is going to be 11 I wouldn't want him listening to some of the real songs anyway.I even listened to it again the next morning just for fun!

Good Music for Kids
My kids really enjoy the CD. They play it every morning to get pumped up and motivated for school. They are 8 and 5. I dont think they pay attention to the lyrics its more about the beat. We don't listen to the radio or watch MTV or BET because music these days seem to be all about a shock factor about who can degrade women the best or who can commit the worse act of violence via a song. Therefore kidz bob allows me to have some piece of mind knowing the music is filtered and child appropriate.

Good CD
Just went to the Kidz Bop concert with my daughter. Sure some lyrics might not be liked by all but you have to take into consideration that not only 5-6 year old listen to this but 12-14 year olds and id rather them hear this than the ones with explicit lyrics. not bad get it. I really like the autorip thing which is sometimes cheaper than the mp3 album itself

Cheesy but good for kids
My kids love listening to the radio but like cd's even more because no commercials. But a lot of the lyrics of the popular songs are not fit for kids to be singing. This was perfect for my kids. My husband and I get a good laugh out of some of the replacement words they use but in all its a good album.

GREAT FOR THE FAMILY
This has all the great songs and allows me and my son to sing together. My son is 8 and the song "Thrift Shop" on the radio even the sensor version I wouldn't let him listen to. When I saw it on Kids Bop I was so grateful because now when we get to the chorus line we don't have to stop we can sing out loud "This is really awesome!!" Plus all the other great songs, just makes you play it on repeat :-)
