Himalaya USDA Organic Triphala Capsules, Colon Cleanse, 688 mg, 60 Caplets

This is going to be TMI, but it is what it is considering this product. Lol. I am truly amazed. I'm taking an herbal supplement that slows my digestive motility really bad....I mean practically full stop. The other day, I somehow ended up with diarrhea, but I actually had to push it out, it would not come out on it's own. That's how bad my intestines are right now. Several times I got severely backed up and only produced the small hard balls. I've been taking miralax, which does help with the balls, but it does nothing to get my intestines moving. I was using the non-medicated type of suppositories to force that stuff out! Last night I took one of these. I actually had a stinking urge to go this morning, and I went!! Amazing!! I don't want my body getting used to this though and will only take it a few times a week, but I'm just so glad I found something that gets my intestines moving without harsh stimulants, which strongest dose was not working anyway. I'll update if it no longer works and if this was a fluke, but I'm pretty stoked about this stuff! I also have a hard time swallowing pills, but this wasn't too bad at all.

I have never had a more positive experience with and herb and this particular brand of supplements/herbs. Triphala by Himalaya Herb Co. Is worth a try by anyone who has a digestive system... It changes everything. I have borderline Irritable Bowel Disease and decinite Irritable Bowel Syndrome from taking a well know acne pharmaceutical in my teens. Nothing has helped, temporarily or permanently, until now 15 years later. Triphala helped regulate everything in my digestive system. More importantly, my other organs were finally healing due to proper nutrient absorption. I lost 27 pounds by the end of week 6 (was taking 1.5 tablets every night with 12oz. Water before bed the whole time) Have recommended this to friends and family. Expect good results from this product...remember that it will take a few days to a week before seeing a consistently amazing change. Keep taking it for a month and take a before and after pic... You most likely won't be disappointed. I don't represent this brand or this product I took Ashwagandha by the same company (white bottle with Orange cap) a year and a half ago and still take it every day. It cured my anxiety, depression, and stopped my organs from failing after a drug and alcohol overdose. I started Ashwagandha the day I got sober By month 2 I was free of benzodiazepines, sleeping pills, alcohol and drugs, and my liver And kidney levels were within normal levels .. This all after a liter of everclear with 150 Zoloft 100mg pills...found a day later and forced into a coma due to serotonin syndrome. The fact that I am alive and typing this would not have been possible without the help of Triphala and Ashwagandha. Triphala with Ashwaganda is a good candidate combination for a true panacea. I did notice that this helped me to just "feel better" and definitely helped with digestion. I'm sure there are many health issues that I don't have that it would also help with. It seems to be very versatile and in my research on it, I could not find one bad thing about it. It is very gentle and depending on the condition you are using it for, may take a while to give you the effect you are looking for, as with many herbs. However, for digestion/constipation it works overnight. I did not have any side effects and was happy with this company's quality of Triphala.

I take these daily and along with a couple of other products, it’s proved to be so helpful with bloating and constipation. The very welcome side effect was that my hair grew stronger and longer. Love Triphala and I have them on a monthly subscription now.

This stuff is great! I have a lot of knowledge on the subject of nutrition and came across this herb Triphala in Ayurveda Medicine. It is one of the products that has effective helped with my digestive issues. It also helped my father (bloating) and a coworkers baby (colic). I found that the Himalaya brand (been using this brand since 2015) is the best of other brands that I’ve tried. No need to keep trying other brands; this is the right one. The tablet is smaller than some brands so it is easier to swallow. It’s about the size is your average tablet; not horse-pill size. It’s not coated, but it’s flat which is why it is easy to swallow. It also isn’t as hard as other band tablets so it breaks down easier; can be easily broken in half or ground to a powder for those who have issues with swallowing tablets. I take this almost every night to stay regular as I have digestive issues. It is generally suggested to take Triphala at about 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning, but I don’t like waking up just to take it and find better results by taking it before bedtime. If I happen to forget to take it at night I take it any time of the day as it has not caused any issues regardless of when I take it.

Arrived on time. Big bottle with giant cotton ball in a bottle. Supposed it protected tablets inside (no broken pieces). Tablets not very smelly- tolerable. Not sure about constipation relief claim, probably need to be taken over longer time. No side effects noticed.

Love this herb. My kids use it too.
