When I tested my cell phone in the bag. I was not able to receive calls or texts on it. And was not able to see it on my router. I'm not the foremost expert in any way on this, however, I can say what I found so maybe others can help direct me in better testing.

This manufacturer (and this product) clearly "mean business." Given so many reviews pointing out that other RF-blocking cages and envelopes do not work consistently or reliably, I immediately completed some Internet research on this item and others manufactured by Faraday Defense -- and then, when it was delivered, I completed some of my own (basic, hands-on) research. Turns out their reputation is "sterling," and their products (including this one) do consistently deliver. A visit to the Faraday corporate website indicated to me that they manufacture primarily for industry and law enforcement. Their products (again, including this one) are lined with THREE layers of metal-coated RF-blocking fabric, and covered with heavy synthetic cloth. Cordura is available for most of their higher-end products. First, form/design factors .... The case is large enough for a medium-large frame cell phone, and would also (easily) hold a few chipped credit or debit cards if I wished to protect them as well. The seams are straight and tight, and the exterior fabric is clearly tougher than most similar bags I have seen. In sealed configuration, two credit card-sized clear plastic windows are visible on the outside. A word of warning: NEITHER of these windows is RF-protected, and (I believe) they are suitable only for business cards, I-D cards, and other non - chipped / non-magnetic items. This Faraday bag has a roll-over top closure -- with heavy hook-and-loop material sealing it. (Their claim that it is resistant to water seems entirely reasonable, though I have not tested that yet, either.) I found out for myself that this bag works, by locking my chipped cards and (5-G) cell phone in it and attempting to use them. I dialed the phone (which showed four bars before entering the bag) from my land-line: it failed to ring, and my call went immediately to voicemail. The cards also were prevented from working -- while they tap perfectly at local retail stores, inside this bag they "disappeared" entirely. Haven't checked its effectiveness on my wireless keyfob yet, but given the other results, I am pretty certain this bag will also "silence" it. So okay, this stuff is generally a bit more expensive, but I would say it's worth every dime.

LOVE! Works amazingly. Great buy for us. You can put the cell phone in while charging and still blocks the signal. Cool!!

Works and I will be using it often! I am even thinking of getting more of different sizes

My wallet barely fits otherwise I would give it a 5. Thought there was a pleat in there to expand. I have a short, thick wallet.

They work great but their sizes are just plane STUPID. The phone size will hold your key fobs and not much else. My iPad Pro doesn’t fit in the tablet case, and is too big for just the phone. The laptop is oversized and now doesn’t fit in any of the bags I use when I travel. The tablet case needs to be 1 inch wider and longer and would be perfect. 1 star because I spent a lot of money to find out that they don’t fit my devices in a practical way.
