I bought this for the storage for my other clays, I was surprised to see how small the box was. I apparently didn't pay attention to dimensions. In the photos I have a standard pen for reference. I am only able to store one 1lb block of clay in each section. That's ok, though. There are lots of great colors, though you don't get much of any one color. The tools are cheap, but fine for a beginner. I made the orchid with only the tools and clay provided (with the exception of the mica powder and resin). The clay is very soft and a bit sticky. I baked according to directions, but the finished piece is flexible and may break easily hence the resin (my pieces are very thin). Overall, this is a neat set.

This kit gives you a big batch of different color "polymer clay" - which is great.However, it's not as forgiving as other clays -- I found that the colors got STICKY (and icky) once exposed to air.OTOH, I probably will order another batch because it's so economical and my grandkids LOVE creating the most amazing objects (ghouls, ghosts, and other evil entities, hoho). It's so inexpensive, that I'm totally OK with them making "dumb things"!

I helped the child make some necklaces with this clay. He loved the color selection. The clay is easy to work. We used thin dental floss sticks to cut the clay. The included tools are nice for kids but not sharp so we also used a sharp knife to slice canes. The box got broken in shipment so I am using an airtight container for storing open packages. Great product for kids making gifts. We will also use the clay for claymation experiments.

And some of the extras where bent. Overall it's decent and will fully suit my needs. I do really wish that, that one section of box wasn't broken through. The box was a BIG part of my choice in products.

Smaller then expected. But good start

This is a really nice set. It has all the things needed to get started. The sizes of each individual color of the clay is small but I expected that. Some colors seemed to be the same shade then I noticed some appeared to have glitter while others did not so I'm figuring that's why. There's more than enough tools and supplies to get started and complete a lot of projects. My only complaint is the case. It was a bit flimsy considering the overall weight of the clay. All three levels latch together but one is very loose. The corner of the one that was originally positioned as the top level came with one corner cracked and missing. The lid is cracked as well. It's manageable if it's placed in the middle or bottom instead. My only suggestion would be to make the case just a little stronger in the future. Other than that, I have no other complaints. I had bought it for my teenager to mess around with when bored but she doesn't seem interested. That's ok because I'm having fun playing with it by myself.
