Honeywell Aube by Honeywell Outdoor Plug-in Timer with Temperature Sensor and photocell Modes (TI062)

I needed an indoor light timer that would control the Christmas tree lights and after looking at many reviews, I selected this model. It is a digital timer, which I wanted, instead of a mechanical one. This means I can program it much more accurately and it makes no noise. But it wasn't a complex timer so it would be easy to set up. Sure enough, when it arrived, I was able to set it up right out of the box within just a couple of minutes without needed to even look at the directions. If you've ever set a digital alarm clock, you should be able to use this timer without any trouble. The setup is easy and intuitive. It works perfect and has the lights turning on and off at exactly the designated time each night.

Excellent digital timers, exactly what I wanted, timer to come on at dusk and turn off when I want. Bought 3 of these timers, 2 for my 2 gardens and one for a back patio deck, each area is unique for the darkness, now I don't worry to keep adjusting timers as our days get shorter and the shadows longer. The timer continues to work even when power might be cut off for several hours. Somewhat easy to set up once you understand the menus. Very pleased with this product, so much better than the old mechanical timers I've been using for years. Would highly recommend these timers.

This timer works well on an extension cord but not when plugged into a wall socket. The problem is that the plug ground prong orientation forces the light sensor to face into the wall when plugged directly into the wall socket. Programing it was a problem at first but that was because I was trying to make it harder than it was. Then I forgot that one has to push the ON button after programming. After I got past the idiot user problems, it has worked well.

I use this to run my block heater on my diesel truck during cold weather and this thing is great. The various ways you can program it to come on and turn off make setting it up for your situation and preferences easy. Saves you soo much money compared to just plugging the truck straight in and having the block heater on from the time I get home till the time I leave the next day now it just comes on for a couple hours before I leave for work

I purchased this to control the block heater in my 2008 Ford diesel pickup truck. This thing is exactly what I needed - I set it to come on between 3:00 AM and 8:00 AM but only if it's below 38 degrees. It does the job and I don't have to worry about whether to plug the truck at night or not. I just plug it in and forget it - it's ready for me to start every morning. It would also be great for outside lighting as it will turn on/off by daylight as well as the timer. Great purchase and strong enough to be used for industrial uses.

Electronics are very low quality. Worked great for 2 months then stopped working. Stay away. I've had a Coleman outdoor timer that is 3 years old and still running great. I suggest you either go with the Coleman or the Garden Creations, much better made.

GAVE UP AND JUST WENT FROM DAWN TO SUNSET!!! I COULD HAVE SAVE A GOOD 20 BUCKS GETTING A SIMPLER ONE THAT ALSO WORKS OUTDOORS.

This my second purchase of this great timer (Aube Technologies). The first one has been working for over 5 years for my water pond pump and has never failed me even with power interruptions. It always keeps time and never had to reprogram it. I even use it for my outdoor Christmas lights and it still runs without fail especially during the cold Canadian winter !

Fonctionne très bien(utilisé en été seulement). Matériau de qualité, robuste, Programmation facile. Répond à 99% pour mon besoin. Un seul point à améliorer sur la minuterie serait d'intégrer la fonctionnalité d'opération avec la longitude et latitude qui s'ajuste automatiquement selon le lever et le coucher du soleil qui est déjà présente sur d'autre minuterie murale Honeywell ou Aube. Si vous utiliser la minuterie à l'extérieure et avec aucun encombrement à la minuterie, la cellule photo-électrique fonctionne avec le niveau de clarté du jour et de la nuit(soleil).

Would have great to have conditional programming (if tmp below<xxC AND between 5 to 8AM for instance)

Ce n'est pas mon premier ni mon dernier. Je m'en sert pour la pompe de la piscine. Ce que j'aime le plus, en plus de la programmation facile, c'est le bouton sur le dessus pour couper et mettre le courant manuellement. Pour moi c'est une merveille. Je m'en sert aussi pour les décorations de Noël à l'extérieur.

fonctionne tres bien , inconvénient si panne électrique plus de 4 heures perd la programmation et doit être reconfiguré.
