Using in homeschool for art class, but awesome for all ages!
I love art journals like these. They free up the "what do I draw/color/do next?" question and give you artistic freedom to take the prompt and do as you please with it. (Remember: art is subjective, therefore there's no wrong way of doing anything artistic or creative ❤️)I homeschool my kids and I was looking for a fun and creative way to complete our art classes. There's a ton of ideas if you look online, but my kids love to use different materials and mediums, plus they're very into my art journals, so I decided to get them each one of their own. These are perfect for our art class and instead of working on 1 prompt per class (we have 1 a week), my kiddos want to keep going and have asked for their journals outside of our homeschooling. Of course I let them have them because it's super fun to get creative and let that artistic freedom flow 😊My daughter is 8 & my son is 10, but I'm 34...these are great for any age!I do recommend checking out Moriah Elizabeth and Keri Smith for more art journals as well (plus search YouTube where there's a TON of videos of others who've done these and Moriah Elizabeth has a channel as well where she goes over both of her art journals. She's hilarious while doing so and the kids, as well as adults, will love her). These books hold up well to all mediums we've used so far, which include: acrylic paint, watercolor, gel pens, markers, colored pencils and crayons, stamps, glue, staples, stickers, fineliners, and odds and ends that go into the fun of as artistic wrecking! I recommend using mod podge over the artwork once finished to seal the page or you can use packing tape to place over the page as well. These are definitely books you're going to want to keep and be able to look at down the road.

Thanksgiving gift for nephews
The journal was a gift for one of my two nephews. One got the Wrecking Journal and the other theWrecking Journal Part 2. I planned to give them for Thanksgiving but when I saw what fun and creative tasksthey need to complete I had to give them so they can start wrecking them. I think that by Thanksgiving theywill have finished them, even sooner seeing how crazy they were about them.

Such a great idea for my girls
Both my girls received this journal. They were so excited, I was like the best gift they've ever received. Why didn't I think of it sooner? Maybe it would have been nice to start with the first part of Wrecking Journal but that's not a problem. For sure I will have to also buy that one in a couple of months! If only my girls would do their homework like they do the tasks from the journal.
