At last a well made one !
Iโve tried literally dozens of magnetic fly screens for my front and back doors - usually I bought cheap ones and after one year they fell to pieces so I replaced them. They were ok but after a couple of months of use the cheap ones would start to droop and fray and inevitably small holes appeared where something had caught as you went through. Also the intermittent magnets on cheap screens always let the odd fly or mosquito in but we thought itโs better than nothing. But this time i decided to look for something better so I looked for the most expensive fly screen I could find here on Amazon and I havenโt been disappointed- this screen is seriously heavy duty, very toughly made from some kind of fibreglass material and obviously professionally assembled and stitched. And best of all the magnetic closures run down the whole length of the join - not just intermittent magnets like the cheap ones. Weโve had it for about three months now and itโs excellent - the 100% magnetic closures mean nothing gets by them, we havenโt seen a fly or mosquito in our house since we fitted this. Fitting was super easy but be double sure to order the size that fits your door frame, donโt guess it. Black is better as it doesnโt show any dirt - weโve had white ones and shockingly after a few months the joins start showing streaks of dirt where you push them apart with dirty hands I guess? Anyway ten out of ten for this screen, you wonโt be disappointed and Iโm betting itโs bomb proof and will last us years.

Works really well.
This was easy to setup and install. It really takes two people to install simply because it's a large product (door size) and it's much easier if one person holds it while the other person sticks it onto the frame. This stops it from flopping around and you can get it aligned properly. Very easy to install. Follow the instructions and 10 minutes later you're done! After the installation, you will see how well it works. The magnets snap it closed every time, although it sometimes clings to the door if that's a bit close. The magnets keep it closed and nicely sealed to keep the insects out. My cats worked out how to open it with their heads after a week of hit and miss. Actually, they worked it out on the first day but they're still apprehensive every time they have to go through it so that's why I say they're more comfortable with it after a week. They still hesitate before going though it but they manage. Overall, an excellent product. You can see clearly though it - most visitors don't even realize it's there until they look closely. You can leave the door open and enjoy an outside breeze without the outside "guests".

Well made, sturdy, easy to install. Tacks could be a little longer.
Liking my screen. I have a metal door so, as expected, sometimes the magnets attach themselves to it rather than going together as they should. One swipe with my foot takes care of that. Itโs not easy to push the tacks through the edges and the door frame. I tried to use a small hammer but, after 4 tacks taking 20 min, it was too time consuming. The tacks are too short to hold with my fingertips and tap the head without reasons to cuss. I decided to go with the tape which so far is holding up quite well. I expect Iโll need to repaint when I remove it, itโs that strong. If youโre worried about the paint, get longer tacks to use. No flying bugs come through though and the material is very sturdy, much better than the nylon one I got at Home Depot last year. The magnets in the center are strong and find each other immediately after I walk through. Unless I close the door too fast and they grab onto it.

This works pretty good, but be ready to make modifications
This keeps the bugs out very well, but is not that easy to install unless your door is the exact size to fit. How often does that happen? Once you get it to fit the door it works great. My little dogs have no problem getting in and out. It's a good sturdy weight so they haven't torn it as they had done to some we used in the past. I have a mobile home and I had to modify this to fit inside the back door. I had to snip into two pieces, then trim and fold & stitch to make it fit right. I also hemmed it 'cause it was wayyy long. When I hemmed it I also stuck some fishing weights in the hem to keep it from moving in the wind. I bought another one for the front door but haven't put it up yet as I will have to modify it as well, and do some work on the door frame also as this one has to go outside the door. This is as good as any of the others, and MUCH better than the ones that have a curtain rod holding the top. It works well enough to make the modifications worth doing to make it fit.

Nicest one yet...
I have had many of these over the years for a sliding glass door that doesn't have a screen. Wow - this one is by far the nicest. In order to get the most level seal on the Velcro, I wanted to mount it on the metal frame above the door rather than the wood trim above that...but doing that meant I would have about 3" extra in length. So I just turned it under and hot glued it (see pic). The pics also show how I had to cut a slit at one side to make it fit around the frame. Super easy to install, even with the tweaks. Do like the instructions say and hang the top first, and pay attention to how the magnets hang - too much tension may prevent them from sealing easily. Speaking of sealing, this door has the tightest seal I've ever seen in one of these (see pic - NO daylight showing through!). The mesh material really is sturdier than the poly ones. Unlike others I have had, I can totally see this one lasting more than one season, and being willing to remove it and save it. Well worth the money; I'd buy again. Home run!

Great screen but not strong enough to withstand pet scratches
Update: While this screen door is stronger than another one we purchased it is not holding up to my dogs nails. Occasionally the glass door is closed and she will scratch to get in, the result is damage to the screen material, I'm including a photo 10 days into having this installed. Overall this screen is much better than others out there, it self closes reliably and is relatively durable. But if you have pets that will scratch or climb it isn't going to last long. I like this screen a lot so my plan is to reinforce the outer side with some pet defense screening material that I had rescreened our traditional screen with since it can withstand a 16 pound cat climbing it as well as dog scratches. Hopefully that will do the trick. Original review: This is much better than a similar screen we purchased. The screening material on this is more durable than what was on our last magnetic screen. I believe this will hold up much better to our dog scratching to get in when the glass door is closed, she created holes in the last screen (fabric type screen with vertical stripes through it). The lack of vertical stripes also makes for a much nicer view. The material is very similar to a heavy duty screening material that was on out last sliding screen. The Velcro creates a solid seal around the sides and top where the last one was solid on the top but had three 6" spots of Velcro along each side. It installed easily. It closes on it's own well. Overall I anticipate it will be far superior to the last magnetic screen we had. I will update if it does not live up to my expectations over time.

Wow. A product that does what it says it will do!
I don't write a lot of reviews but when I come across something that is priced reasonably and performs exceptionally, I feel like it needs to be extolled. We almost bought a $2000 dollar screen door replacement for a slider door that had been trashed by our dog. Came across this and for a tiny fraction of the cost, it works better than a sliding screen door would. That's because our dog can now easily navigate it which wasn't the case (obviously) with the previous door. So, in short, this thing works. It's simple to install and it closes perfectly when you (or your dog) go through it. No bugs in the house. No problems. Just be sure you leave a slight clearance at the bottom, maybe a half inch or less, so it won't drag on the floor and not close completely. A great product, great value. You will not regret it.

Works well
It's easy to install and works perfectly. My one down side is that the pins it comes with are bright gold, so either replace them with black pins you have, or paint them black (which is what I did). Otherwise, I love it, looks great, was easy to put up myself, and has very strong magnets that work well!

Fits perfectly on normal Australian sliding door
Adhesive is good, was really quick to install, the chickens won't come inside through it which is great. Actually pretty impressed with this. Fits perfectly on an Australian aluminium sliding door (lots of houses have these) the magnets are the right strength to close up automatically after walking through. Itsss goooood

Easy to install
Replaced my flyscreen door after it broke, these keep out the bugs, but let the pets come through. Great solution for us.
