I'm a watercolor painter and I bought this to help me keep consistently straight lines when drawing shingles. It's nice and sturdy, plenty of room for a mechanical pencil to get in there, and it's going to be a game changer. Bonus is a cute little stencil they added to the package. So glad I found this!

I used pencils, pens, and even a rounded tip thing that is really for dotting paint but it worked great to make the lines without actually drawing them on the paper. Not sure if you can see it, but I like that the best! I was hating on some stationery I had that didn't have lines but now I can make the lines any color I want, or various colors, or no color or lines at all but using the tool in the photo (this did not come WITH this stencil, I had it) is awesome too so no lines actually show. Works great and is bigger and better than expected.

Ordered this stencil for a project I was working on that needed a lot of straight lines in close proximity to one another and equally spaced out. This was perfect! Instead of being a flimsy plastic like other stencils are sometimes made out of, this one is a hard plastic so it is incredibly durable. I've had it for almost a year now and it's still one of my favorite stencils I own. The numbers next to the lines for stenciling is also super helpful. I use the numbers sometimes to remember which line of the stencil I am on when I am sketching very very lightly and it's hard to see the pencil marks on the paper because of how I work.

Four stars because it's good quality plastic and does basically what I want. Line spacing is perfect. It would be five stars if it was proportioned for an 8.5"x11" piece of paper.

Will be great for lining the back of stationary paper which is what I got it for. Also it came with another goodie!

Not flimsy plastic, made with acrylic and comes with stylus to imprint lines on the paper nearly invisibly perfect for no line journaling.

Can’t believe this didn’t come broken. It’s thin and a little fragile. Bravo Amazon. Also came with an extra free stencil. Love it.

I ordered this template to put writing and lines into a baby book I made. I used a regular #2 pencil and 005 micro pen on a high quality card stock. My lines were perfect every time, no wobbling or bumps in the plastic. This one tool cut my writing time down to a quarter of what I was expecting. Sturdy, plenty of lines to cover a full page, easy to reposition and not throw your lines off. I have purchased a second one like this- I want to keep a backup. Good buy

Very thick and clunky plastic but works all the same. Nothing wrong with the product I just don't like the look and feel of it.

The line spacing of this straight line template is - to me - the correct distance between lines to be drawn prior to writing by hand. All other templates that are produced - by others - seem to be made with the line spacing distances too far apart. I lay my lines down lightly in pencil so as to be erased later. Eamonn

This is exactly what I was looking. It feels well made and sturdy compared to other stencils I've had.

Love this to draw lines in pencil - I then write in pen and erase the lines. The only issue was the delivery took weeks. It is also expensive.
