Recommend a bench cushion

A cushion would be more of a personal preference. If you spend a lot of time sitting on the bench a cushion would certainly be more comfortable but as our bench sits under trees we do not use a cushion and do not find it uncomfortable to sit on without one.

Is the seat one piece or slats that you have to assemble? I ordered the floral bench & disappointed to see slats, not one piece seat.

We purchased the red cardinal bench. If I recall, it came in maybe four pieces. The back, seat and then each side. Each individual slot did not have to be put together.

What are the seating area slats made out of ? The info provided only specify that the back and arms are metal but there is no ino on the seat material

The material appears to be the same metal the bench is made of.

We can't get the little black caps to snap on to the screw heads. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem, let them soak in very hot water and then place at an angle and hit with a hammer, I used a piece of wood over the cap and hit the wood with the hammer.
