This set was purchased to cut holes in heavy porcelain tiles for screw holes and shower / tub fixtures. They did not work out for larger holes using a hand drill as starting the cut caused the bit to walk around and could never get a good cut started. I did get some use from a smaller bit for screw holes after a heavier bit started the hole. This set may be better for ceramic or light porcelain tile. It was taking so long to complete a single screw hole I locally purchased heavy duty diamond tipped hole drills that cut the time for a drilling a hole from 15 min to 2 min. I found that these bits are not suitable for heavy porcelain tile, but may be acceptable for lighter use.

these Hardcore drill bits are not as heavy as my other set, but I hope this will do the job.

If you need a whole cutter to tackle tight places, these work great... You do need to make a guild/jig to keep them from wandering, since there is not center bit. I use a small block of wood with a hole in that allows me to keep the bit in one place.

These worked excellent!! I had some glass construction blocks I needed to drill holes in big enough I could insert tulle and lights...these were perfect and done a clean job of it too.

I bought this set to drill holes in glass bottles that I decorate and fill with lights. I’m comfortable around power tools and pretty handy female. I wanted a “set” for variety of hole sizes but I didn’t want to spend a lot as I wouldn’t be using that frequently. This set was so inexpensive I thought it may be flimsy but it isn’t. So far I’ve drilled 6 bottles with one size bit & is working perfectly. Fill the sink with water up to where drill meets bottle. I would definitely recommend.

After i used 2nd time biggest one its not qualitied as much as what it shows.

I made sure to use water as I cut through brick,worked as advertised. I used the 1" 3/4 hole saw.
