Practical and Easy
Perfect sleeping furniture for my grandson. He slept peacefully next to his mother’s bed. She could reach over and comfort him without leaving her bed.

Wish I had bought one sooner. Get it if you had a c-section
This thing is amazing. I got a free Snoo bassinet from my employer but I hated it. I had a c-section so I looked up the brand bassinet that was used in the hospital and saw that it was a halo. Two of the things I really loved about the one in the hospital were: 1. It could swivel to me so I could pull the bassinet to me from the hospital bed, which was SO helpful while recovering from surgery. 2. The side of the bassinet is collapsible so I could pick up baby from the bassinet so easily. The weight of my forearms would collapse the side of the bassinet while I was picking her up - so I didn’t have to use my abdominal muscles at all. Some additional features this one has that I love: The sides are mesh so I don’t have to worry about baby rolling over and not being able to breathe if he face is against a side. The height is perfect for pulling over a bed. The bassinet basket is removable! We took it off of the base and brought it to a hotel so baby could still sleep in a familiar space. It has several sound and vibration settings. I love using the heartbeat sound for my baby. Helps her fall asleep. The size is good and as a bassinet, it is the most functional one I’ve had. I wish I had bought one for my first two c-sections. It is a bit on the heavier side - but only if you have to carry it around. If you keep it stationary next to your bed and just deal with the swivel function, it is a piece of cake! I love it and this is seriously one of the best items I’ve purchased post c-section. It is a worth every penny. Also highly recommend the halo swaddles. This company has got sleep down pat for babies!

I loved this bassinet
I spent a lot of time deciding on my first baby's bassinet and finally chose this one and I'm glad I did. It was not too big. The base is wide but it fit under my bed so was not much in the way. The swivel was great for getting out of bed and I liked that I could them through the mesh. The vibration also helped I think. Our room was very small and this was a great fit. I can't wait to put my next baby in it

So excited about these updates!
We used an older Halo Bassinest model in the past for our older daughter and loved it. I felt at peace knowing she was safe and I loved having her close. I never worried about SIDS or suffocation risks because of the flat mattress, mesh sides, and super sturdy frame. We never used any of the electronic features and didn’t really feel like we needed any of them. We also wanted to avoid creating any unnecessary sleep associations, so we didn’t really use the vibrating feature. We’re expecting our youngest in three months, and I am absolutely thrilled this newer model comes with the option to detach the stand so you can move the bassinest around the house for naps or use it while traveling. I also love that you can remove and wash the fabric in the washer! I’ll post updates as we use this newer model with our youngest but so far upon setting it up, I’m so pleased! It’s beautiful, sturdy, and well-designed. The only hiccup we had was when assembling the bassinet. One of the curved rods that supports the fabric sides was just ever so slightly bent in at the end enough to make it difficult to connect into the other piece to complete the assembly of the frame. We had to use some needle nose pliers wrapped in fabric to fix the dent without scratching the frame, and then we were able to connect the two top rails together. Not a big deal to me, but this bassinet is pricy for having this issue. Testing out the process of taking the bassinet on and off the stand was something I was curious about (as there were no prior reviews on Amazon at the time of our purchase) but it works pretty easily! The bassinet bed comes off the stand fairly easily and it’s fairly fool-proof connecting it back together. Since you can’t really look under the bassinet while your holding it to see where it should connect into the stand, they more or less designed a big funnel shape to help guide you into the right spot. It clicks when it’s locked in. It was much easier to use than I thought it would be. Now time to wait for baby to come!!

Love the swivel but the drop down side sags a bit
I really like this bassinet. It’s sleek, well made, and not ugly like some other ones. I like the swivel function, makes it easy to have little one really close to you or for you to have them out if the way so you can get in and out of bed easier. I knocked off a star because the side that comes down for getting baby in and out easy has already started to sag a bit after maybe a month of use. Also if you have a tall baby they will outgrow this quickly. My little one is 2 months and on the tall side and she won’t be able to fit in her much longer.

Like the swivel bassinet - not sure I’d get luxe again
This review is for the luxe swivel sleeper Pros: -love the swivel feature, easy to move baby closer/further and get in/out of bed etc -detachable bassinet can be moved around house - legs are pretty flush with ground versus other models on the bassinest. For me this was important because I didn’t want to be tripping getting in and out of bed. - baby seems to enjoy the vibrations. - I like that the rim of the bassinet can “collapse” (baby brain - can’t think of a better word) to allow me to get baby out easier while sitting in bed. Cons: - the nightlights are an absolute joke. I really should go take a picture to show how pathetic they are but I have a sleeping newborn on my lap. They legitimately do not light anything up. (There’s two “night lights” - one that’s supposed to up light the inside of the bassinet and one that is supposed to down light to the ground. Both are pathetic and do not light anything up.) - the soothing sounds - even on the highest volume - are barely audible. I have a normal thickness mattress protector and sheet on the bassinet mattress. If I push the mattress back from the little console where the noise comes from you can hear it *a little* better but it’s still ridiculously quiet. I wind up using other white noise machines if I want white noise. - bassinet is large and bulky to move around house when detached from base. I thought it was going to be a little more portable. And it says not to move with baby inside - which given how difficult it is to move around house (fit through doorways etc) I would never try. I thought moving around the house while baby slept in bassinet was one of the benefits of the portable bassinet but I was clearly mistaken.

LIFECHANGING ❤️❤️❤️
This was the only bassinet I could find tall enough for our very tall bed. So I was a bit forced into this bassinet if I wanted it free standing, but am I ever so grateful 🙏 It was secure, the swivel was a godsend at night, and the locking and unlocking side panel kept Boogie safe as he learned to escape things!! Used it up to 6 months happily and shes packed away until next time ❤️
