PlantSpectrum16 Grow Light, Full Spectrum LED Plant Growing Lamp 16Watt for Indoor Plants

Aesthetically attractive lamp, and very nice light quality. I justified the purchase because Amazon stated that the Country of Origin was Belgium and I'm willing to pay more for items made in EU or USA or Canada. However, the box states "Made in China. Designed in Belgium." I dislike being misled.

The grow light looks good and it’s very easy to set up! The only issue that I have with it is that it sounds like there’s something inside that rattles around, and it concerns me that something might be loose or broken.

It’s not that I don’t like these lights, I just wish they were more powerful. I have purchased multiple lights from this brand and been using them for almost 2 years. I love that they’re simple, well-made, and they look beautiful (more like polished lighting that belongs in a home and less of the ‘industrial warehouse’ vibe most plant lights on the market have). They work well for growing foliage and they eventually get certain plants to flower, but they are not strong enough to get my tropicals to flower. When I started finally supplementing them with Barrina lights (orb grow), I quickly saw a difference and some of my plants that were exposed to barrina lights started shifting into a bloom cycle. The only plants that did flower were a small citrus and a flowering vine within a foot of 2 of these lights, and a succulent growing right next to it for almost a year was so starved for light that it reverted to green and became leggy (after a few days of Barrina light, it started changing to its expected color). If you are only growing foliage plants this is an aesthetically pleasing, well-made light, but this is going to be insufficient if you’re looking for rapid growth or to flower a high-light tropical. I also REALLY don’t like how cagey Mother plant is about the stats on their lights that are important to know for growth; they are really not transparent about this and their website has a lot of waffle.

I’m honestly never buying cheap grow lights again. For all the cheap lights I’ve purchased - with minimal success, I could have bought at least 2 or 3 of these! You really do get what you pay for sometimes. I mostly grow Hoyas and have become a huge collector, and light is really important for these plants. They have seriously thrived and even some slower-growing species grow so fast now. I use these lights on a surge protector with a built-in timer, and they work incredibly. Also, they don’t burn the leaves, which is a plus. Overall, there might be way fancier grow lights on the market, but these work beautifully. So worth the purchase!

Wish the base of the light would be more sturdy. It stands up right but the cord makes it move so I have to adjust the cord so it doesn’t pull the light to the side. Overall super bright and my plants are very happy! It has a switch no timer.

This light is allowing me to have plants that aren’t dying due to lack of light. I have pothos, an orchid, a palm, a Chinese money plant, an aloe, an American rubber plant, a spider plant all in a space with this light. I’m loving it!

Very overpriced for what it is. You’ll get the same quality elsewhere for 1/5 of the price…

Very over priced for what you get in terms of power. It looks pretty though.

Fits ikea greenhouse cabinet (milsbo) and works great

I have one in my plant cabinet and a Barrina t5. On the shelf with the T5 my plants keep getting burns and they are growing slower (even though the light is visually significantly brighter). But on the other shelf I have a plant spectrum 16 and although it isn't as bright as the T5, all the plants are 3x taller.

The “PlantSpectrum16” from “Mother” is a vary good quality LED indoor plant grow light for helping to keep your indoor plants healthy and growing well. First off, the setup and general familiarisation with the LED grow light is incredibly simple. To be honest, there’s not a huge amount to learn with the light, other than ideal placement and really what it does. Furthermore, there’s a handy App which you can download from the instruction manual, which provides you with expert advice on using the LED grow light and how much you should use for your specific plants (there appears to be an absolutely huge library of plants on there). The quality of the light’s manufacture appears to be excellent. It’s incredibly strong and robust, with a good-quality aluminium shell protecting the light and giving it a sleek, contemporary and professional overall look. Furthermore, when inspecting the areas where there are joins and connections, and the edges around the LED light fitting, you can really see the high degree of quality in the build. The light is also fully IP65 waterproof, which means you can use the light in humid conditions, such as a greenhouse, without fear of it shorting out, or the shell or internal parts rusting. The different stands and ways in which you can have the LED grow light suspended or positioned is excellent too. This makes it so easy to adapt the positioning without any fuss, as and when your plants grow. The impact of the light on the growth of our seedlings has been incredible. We’ve had various seedlings growing and have used this grow light in conjunction with a couple of other ones we have. These PlantSpectrum lights have proven to be the most effective, not only for the seedlings, but also assisting with the growth through the junior stages of development upwards. Both my partner and I have been seriously impressed with the grow light. For the price admittedly we were expecting a good quality light. Nevertheless, this light has still exceeded our expectations in both performance and quality. Very highly recommended.
