Can two of these be used to extend coverage to 800M? In other words one as an access point and the second one as a repeater.

Hello Chuck B., our engineers have tested it, and if it is in an open area with fewer obstacles, two of them can be used as you said (tested distance 1000 meter). But if you're in a crowded urban area, we don't recommend it. Hope this can help.

Can i plug this into a poe switch or do i need the supplied injector?

If you have the username and password it will work. You also need to be able to plug a cat5 cable into the router and this device.

Can this be used with an Orbi system?

I have the Orbi 963 setup (an Orbi 960 router and 3 satellites). I have 2 satellites that are more than 90 feet apart, and I was only getting between 2 and 30 Mbs connectivity. I added the Outdoor WiFi 6 AX1800 to boost the data rates. I setup the AX1800 in repeater mode, and I am still fine tuning the placement. Nonetheless, I am now getting 150 to 200 Mbs connectivity, which is good enough for me to watch 8k UHD movies. It must be noted, these faster rates are at 2.4 and 5 GHz, and not at the 6 GHz that the Orbi 963 uses for router-to-satellite communications. These are still limited and slow. I do not think I will ever get the 1800 Mbs; however, my situation has improved substantially and meets my needs. I hope this helps.
