Elastic Shoe Laces for Kids and Adults Sneakers,Elastic No Tie Shoelaces

Super, nice and cheap. Solves the purpose.

I’m starting to accumulate some of the items that I’ll need post hip surgery in August. One of the items recommended are elastic shoelaces so that you can slip your feet in and out of your tied shoes. Bonus is that I have high arches and toward the end of the day I always have to remove my shoes because the bones at the top of my feet, hurt. These shoelaces have solved that problem because they give! I was also able to find a color close to my Hoka shoe color. They give you 3 shoelaces, I guess in case you mess one up when deciding what length to knot them, put the carbuncles on, and join them. I wore them tied like regular laces for a day, walking my dog with my rollator in the morning, making sure they were still comfy at the end of the day, then marking the laces with a pen where I had tied them to determine where to put the knots. Then I cut the laces, singed the ends and buckled them up!I have to hold on to the tongue with a grabber to slide my foot into them without bending my leg which I’ll need to do after surgery, and I can use my new sock puller-offer to slide them off without bending my knee up to take them off. One item down. I’ll keep using this kind of lace from now on because the top bones of my feet are happy!

I’m an occupational therapist and use these with my adult patients all the time. They don’t look like little kid options like those spiral ones they used to only have. They are also great when you buy non-velcro shoes for little who don’t know how to tie shoes yet!

My 8 year old still struggles with tying his shoes. All the “baby” shoes use Velcro and the “cool kids” have laces. Tired of asking his classmates to always tie his shoes, these are a simple solution!

Will make it easier for slipping on shoe without having to tie all the time
