TERRIBLY MADE BOOT, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
I loved these boots the moment I slipped them on. Not a month later, though -- after about 200 miles of fast summer hiking -- the soles of the boots began to separate from the boot heels. RIDICULOUS! What do they use for adhesive, I wonder -- Elmer's?I want my money back, and I'd really like it if LaSportiva -- and I've been a loyal customer for two decades now -- would get on their QUALITY CONTROL Dept. and say, "Hey, get with it! Be sure we're making products that LAST!"

fantastic, except...
The vibram outsole is great - it's grippy, durable, and with the metal shank in the shoe, provides excellent comfort when walking jagged rocks. The shoe itself is a bit more narrow than i'd like though. Also the laces... the laces, if a regular shoe knot is used, do not stay tied. I've been double knotting these whenever going out for a hike at this point. Water proofing has been solid and the comfort has been high

excellent hiking boots
La Sportiva Stream GTX Hiking Shoes are excellent hiking boots for me. Have used them for several local hikes and a few hikes in the White Mountains in New Hampshire. The stiffer sole helps protect my feet from the rocks and navigating over boulder fields. They do seem to run a little small. The removable insoles from La Sportiva are the same size as my Merrell’s. (La Sportiva are 11.5 or 45 / Merrell 11.0) I did put SUPERfeet insoles size “E” (USA Mens 9.5-11) as I do with all my hiking boots. Overall I am very impressed with this purchase, my feet don’t get beat up like other brand. Most likely I will purchase again!

Keeps you dry
I play disc golf in every season in Alaska. I needed some good waterproof hiking shoes to deal with the snow and slush in the winter. These shoes are amazing. They've kept me dry walking straight through inches-deep puddles and they keep traction on wet ice. They're also incredibly comfortable and lightweight. I couldn't imagine trading these in for anything else.

Best boots I’ve ever had!Extremely comfortable and very lightweight waterproof very grippy I walk on roofs all the time they work better than work boots good styling, very good brand high-quality would highly recommend. No complaints. Good for working or hiking.
