Great idea, poor execution. Don’t waste your money
This product was a bear to assemble. The instructions are vague and lacking. There is no parts description/identification page.Once assembled, we realized the motor had a loose wire. We took it apart and tried to repair it - at the suggestion of the seller. This did not work. The seller stopped responding to inquiries and did not provide a replacement part. THEN when I went to file a return, they made me pay for the return postage! All in all, this could be so so much fun! The parts are cheap and the customer service is terrible. We bought 2, and neither worked! It’s a shame. I’m out $60 for a defective toy.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

Fun to play with, time-consuming to build and repair
Long story short - if you don't mind assembling and reassembling it, it's tons of fun! This thing is FUN for all ages, but there is a lot of prep work to get there. You'll need a helium tank or a very friendly party store willing to fill this huge thing up. You will also need two hours to assemble it as you wrestle the balloon down to tape on the fins and rubber-band on the motorized fin. Record this on video for your future entertainment...It's easy to control once assembled, moving up and down with one control area and swimming forward, left, or right with another. My 3yo enjoyed it as much as my spouse and me. But, after a few hours of "swimming" it around the house, you'll need to re-attach a fin or two, maybe boost it's buoyancy with a helium balloon. If you're an engineer, this may be part of the fun; if not, you will throw it in the trash.

One Time Fun day
Don't do this inside. Don't do it on a windy day. It was fun for a day. Not easily stored for later use. You must a tank of helium to fill up the shark or take somewhere to be filled. For me it was worth the price for an all day activity. In my opinion not much more than that.

Did not work from the get go
This was so disappointing, I purchased this for my son’s birthday, and it never worked from the get go, the mechanics would not work which made the balloon inoperable and basically a waste of the whole idea and money. Finally after having a professional air it up with helium we realized it was leaking air took it back and they couldn’t find a leak either which means the balloon was just defective. Don’t waste your money. It’s a cool idea but a terrible product.

Popped in the first 2 minutes while assembling
I work at a place called sharkys. Took forever to try and assemble and the tape didn't stick parts fell off and it lost air within about 2 minutes. Could just be this one could have been a fun gift but kid never got to play with it..

Waste of time and money
The directions to assemble are horrible and incomplete. The shark floats unevenly and the tail does not move. Completely useless and waste of money.
