This is now in my 2017 Porsche Macan, with a 4-cylinder 2.0-liter engine. I had this wired professionally. Porsche Electrician insisted on 2 gauge very thick and insulated copper wiring. He also insisted on foregoing the fuses and installing a circuit breaker at 200 amps max. Believe it or not, I can run a 1000 watt hair dryer now in the car (my granddaughters love it) and still have around 975 watts left over. It's not noisy, it's big but not too big, one switch activation On/Off. This is 1 very cool addition.

Great buy. Works as expected. When used through the cigarette lighter it's quiet. When connected to my battery, the fan makes a bit of noise regularizing the flow. All in all. I'm happy with this purchase. Just wish it was a bit more compact and had the items to mount within the package.

Worked for smaller appliances. Bought a 1500 for bigger things

Peice of garbage!!! Will not even run one box fan from walmart!!! Very mad as I needed this specifically for an occasion. The 500 watts and Wattage description is a complete lie!!! Do not waist you're money!!!! If I could give it -20 Stars I would.

5000 W inverter- If you don’t know much about hooking up this inverter then don’t count on the instructions that come with it to help you out. There’s a wire with an alligator clip that’s not even mentioned. I feel like there should be a translator to translate instructions from Chinese to English and then another translator to translate that English to regular English because even though the instructions are in English they don’t make sense.

This is a great inverterI use it to load test batteries and see how they perform.It tells you the battery voltage and the output voltage (120V) ... I use it with a Kill-A-Watt which monitors the output power, so if I use a 60W incandescent bulb it may tell me that I am really using 52W. This then tells you the current and one can then compare to the A*Hr rating of the battery.... one watches the battery voltage to see when it starts dropping.... If you are called away and forget your test, it will only drain your battery so far before shutting off the output and beeping. It makes a really nice platform for testing solar batteries.

I will put it on my boat to assist in charging my phone, etc.
