FIXALL Skid Grip Anti-Slip Coating, 5 Gallons, Camel, Exceeds ADA Standards, Ideal for Safety Areas, Slip-Resistant Pavement, Cement & Concrete Paint

I have a small complaint to make. When I first purchased this paint, I wanted the 5 gallon bucket in slate color. The issue was i could not select a color, so I placed the order and good thing I wrote to the seller because they were about to ship me a random color. They pulled it off the truck and canceled my order. I was informed they dont have the slate in 5 gallon buckets so I should order 5 one gallon buckets. Have a cart where you can select size and color, that owild make things easier.As far as the quality of the paint, I will be honest, and I thought at first the paint would not stick because it easily came off my tools and my skin with water, but behold when I layed down the paint, it really grips the surface and once dry, it has a rough texture but not rough enough to say hurt your feet if you walk in it barefoot!I did a small outdoor patio in NYC(space is at a premium) of 220 sq feet and i managed to use roughly 4 1/2 gallons. This could be because the first coat will always absorb through all crevices and concrete is porous anyway. I did re-coat the main area of foot traffic so thats why i used so much paint. Color is right on spot and I really like the way it turned out. The last coating i had was slippery when wet..living in a prayer… sorry.Prep wise i washed all of the concrete with bleach soap and a degreaser to make sure surface is nice and clean and paint could stick. Paint lays down very thick and drying time in good clear hot weather dries pretty quick but i will let it cure for a few days before putting it to full use. have a good nappy roller to lay down the paint or a large squeegee. wash the paint off with soapy water when still wet if you get it on your tools . Very nice paint to work with.Next comes durability and only time and weather cycles will tell. Its the end of summer of 2025 and we will still get some hot days followed by winter so I will wait and update this silly review of mine and let you guys know how it has held up. Not crazy expensive and not cheap either just about right on price.

Fantastic product!! Highly recommend. This paint was easy to mix and apply. It dried quickly (2 hours) and provides a surface that feels like 40 grit sandpaper. I have a two-car garage, and I used 1 1/2 gallons on the larger half because of the additional space the builder allowed around the hot water heater. You can sort of see the before (right side) and after in the provided picture. I also took a close up to show the texture which is more difficult to see but provides a good look at the color. One quick note, drips will dry quickly and cause imperfections in the finish. It is a good idea to have a small scraper to get them up while painting.

Fantastic cement floor paint at an amazing price! You cannot beat this, above all the quality of paint is incredible. I bought it to paint a garage floor and all I did as prep work was to sweep and vacuum the floor well.It went on super easy and didn’t require any skill, just a roller. I do wish I had done the edges with a brush but it’s ok, I bought a reflective tape and will put that on the wall all around to cover the mess I made with the roll. If you are a meat painter you will know to do this first before rolling the paint.But back to the quality of this paint, it’s absolutely extraordinary. However, I didn’t count for the fact that concrete is very porous so it took twice the amount I calculated, which was only one can.The photos are of the first coat. Sadly, I had forgotten where I bought this paint and got more paint from a local store which was good but not as amazing as this Skid Grip…and cost twice as much.So yes, get twice as much as you calculate for the first coat, then half of that amount for the second coat. In my case, by my calculations I needed one gallon can for the first coat. It turns out, I needed two. Then just one more for the second coat.So, for this 1-car garage I used three 1-gallon cans, two gallons for first layer of paint, and one more gallon for the second layer.

The first delivery was the wrong color from what was ordered. So had the inconvenience of sending it back. But after we got the right color we really like it. We put on two coats to our new deck handrails. It looks great. Now we just have to see how it holds up. It filled in the small cracks on the wood very well.

I used this on a ramp at my mothers. Its easy to apply and I have used it before, but the plywood degraded over time.Its worth the money, Just one slip and fall will cost much more. I used a oil based primer under it this time, but it stuck to the wood well without the primer also.

This non-skid paint is a pretty good deal. It brushes on easy and dries like sand paper, only not too much. I'm using it all over the place now.

The color is great. Goes on easy enough. Doesn't always look even with the sand in it.After a while on the garage floor, it is peeling. If salt off of a shovel gets on it, it will peel. Anything bangs it, it will peel. Used on front stoop as well and it is peeling. I prepped properly too. So good luck

FIXALL Skid Grip Anti-Slip Coating, 1 Gallon, Jet (Black)Applied this with a roller brush to a sidewalk outside of a commercial building for looks and grip (safety). Laid down easily enough just like any other paint. There is grit in this paint, so it may not work for aerosol/spray gun applications, but will be fine for brush and/or roller.This particular paint looks purplish-blue when it's wet, but turns to my desired color (jet black). It looks great! Can see and feel the texturing; the color itself has no sheen to it (non-glossy) which is what I wanted. It's already rained once since I've painted the concrete sidewalk and can attest that it does, in fact, work! The sidewalk has far more grip to it now.Will update this review if necessary (i.e. quality worsens prematurely). For now, very pleased and would recommend this for any outside sidewalk/porch/parking lot that needs anti-slip for safety/liability concerns!
