I've been without a good masher for a while, this works great. It's thick, not too thick, and durable so you can put a little weight into it for the mashing and don't have to worry about it bending or breaking. You can tap most of the excess potatoes off and rinse off most of the rest. Then I put it in the dishwasher with no issues. Durable, works great, highly recommended. Almost forgot, the handle is a special comfort, non slip handle, as it states. So your hand grips and stays in place, really nice.

I have meant to buy one of these for quite a while. Oxo is a brand that I have bought from previously, and I generally like their price and quality, so I decided to buy this from them. Since I bought it a few months ago, I have used it at least a dozen times. I have found it easy to use, and easy to clean. It also produces good results. Therefore, only know, I considered a good purchase.

Nice size (not too large), nice price, easy to clean, comfortable, sturdy, curved edges make using in pan quite easy. Works ok for refried beans, depending on the size of the bean; pinto ok, black bean not ok. Tines are 10mm apart near center, 11mm at edge.

This is my first potato masher, but I like it. Some bonus features are: it stands upright by itself, either on top of the mashed potatoes or on a plate; it will scoop along curves in a casserole while mixing and mashing, and hold the mash so you can plop a glob onto a plate with it; it would, expectedly, be a bit tricky to wash in between the tines by hand, but it rinses off really easily and it's surprising that even though you can use it to get a nice scoop, not much at all remains stuck between the tines of it when you shake it. Oh - it mashes well (what it's for), and evenly, and will spread out the big pats of butter over still hot potatoes with no problem, much faster and better than a fork. Light, but no hint of not being up to the task at hand. Probably good for avocado, too. The diameter is not small, so you should have a drawer big enough.

I honestly don't understand why I see people saying that it's hard to clean it and that potatoes stick to it easily. That's simply not the case. I just used it for the first time tonight, expecting to have the same issues, but I had no issues of the sort. It's no more hard to clean than the average potato masher, and it does the job much faster and thoroughly than my old masher as well. It didn't scratch up my nonstick pot either, so I'm completely satisfied.

Sturdy & easy to clean, works well. Won't scar my non-stick cookers (I have steel utensils for my cast iron). Good value.

Arrivato nei tempi descritti all' atto dell' ordine, ben imballato. Ottimo per schiacciare patate e altre verdure mentre si cuociono direttamente nel tegame di cottura. Resiste alle alte temperature e si lava tranquillamente in lavastoviglie.

Well made. The ‘stiffness’ of the masher is very good which makes it easier to use. Handle has a good non-slip feel to it. Being plastic means it won’t scratch non-stick pans.
