Rocky Mountain Sunscreen SPF-30 Lotion 128oz Gallon Pump

I added some coconut essential oil to this gallon of unscented sunscreen. You would be hard pressed to not think this was one of the more expensive brands with that luscious smell of coconut. Easy to apply, rubs in nicely, and provides adequate sun protection.

I started using this stuff when the original owner years and years ago used to frequent the CORPS Mt. Bike circuit here in CO with a big gallon jug that participants could slosh on their product for free. I thought the world of the company then and now. They make a high quality product that works better than a lot of the boutique products out there that cost a lot more. The stuff goes on and absorbs pretty quickly. And it stays on through water, sweat, heat and activity. I'm a competitive runner, cyclist and triathlete - coming out of a swim, it still stays on my face and I don't need to reapply before the bike or the run. Everyone is different I guess, but for my money - this stuff is the only sunscreen I'll use - both in sport but also on my kids (check out the info / FAQ page on their website). The only complaint is that sometimes, it can cause eye irritation. But then again - so does sweat. You can avoid by being careful when applying above the eye brows.

We were looking for a daily SPF30 that would be easy to dispense, so we bought this large bottle of Rocky Mountain sunblock. It's a pleasure to use. Absorbs quickly. Not sticky at all. Seems 100% effective through 60 minutes in the pool and bright summer sun! Nice product, highly recommended. By the way, this large volume dispenser was near the least expensive SPF30 we considered buying. That's a plus, for sure!

This is a very light feeling sunscreen. It goes on smooth, is not greasy or sticky and absorbs right away. I forget I have it on right after I apply it. It does not leave a white chalky look or make you look like a ghost when its on your face. It does have a bland, sunscreen smell (I'm going to try and scent it...). I'm not hip to what sunscreen ingredients are bad for you, etc, but I need a high volume at a low price. If I don't wear a minimum 30 spf my skin will blister or eczema will also kick in. It will sting if it gets in your eyes, so be careful not to rub it in there...

My husband and I are avid outdoor adventurers. I discovered their sunscreen and have been using it for years. I have sensitive skin and this product doesn't make my face break out. Also it stays on a long time so we have to apply it less frequently. It isn't greasy. It applies evenly. It doesn't feel like you have a coating on your skin. Highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a great sunscreen.

I found this sunscreen by accident, by getting a sample from my roommate who had attended a race where they were given out. I have a high family history of Melanoma and I was on a constant search for a sunscreen that worked with my lifestyle. I'm a cyclist and couldn't find anything that would stay on when I was sweating. Additionally, I wanted a sunscreen I could wear everyday under my makeup for daily protection. I found the perfect sunscreen in Rocky Mountain. I have NEVER gotten a sunburn with this product, even after being on a bike for five hours. It's a bit more expensive than some, but worth it's weight in gold. My only complaint is with the pump, it magically stops working when the product is about 80% gone. But, the remains are easily transferred to a travel bottle which is good for my purse anyhow.

Nice product that goes on well and does not have a greasy feel. The only issue, that has been voiced by others, is that it will sting if you get it in your eyes. The sweat from my forehead mixed with the sunscreen, slipped into my eye and the stinging started. Other than that I recommend you give it a try. It feels dry after a few minutes and has not stained my cloths.

This is the best sunscreen ever! My husband and sister both have skin allergies and it works perfectly for them with no reaction at all. My sister just got back from an 8 day rafting trip through the Grand Canyon and raved about not being sunburned, plus how comfortable it was. It stays on well with water exposure and once it is on we don't even know it is there. Try it, you will love it. Plus, when you buy the quart it is downright cheap compared to other not so nice brands.
