New Balance Men's Fresh Foam X Defender SL Golf Shoe

First, it is a size 16. I returned it for being too short and too snug. I had my foot recently measured and it was a US 15 for the left foot and a 15 1/2 for the right. I have Footjoy golf shoes size 15 that was roomier. But I have New Balance size 15 sneakers that fit beautifully, so that was the rationale behind my size choice after I did my homework. If New Balance had a size 17 in this shoe I would reorder for it but wider--but they don't. Lastly, it is a beautiful shoe. I wish I could get a size that fit. I recommend the shoe--just get the fit right.

Shoes run a little small. Maybe order 1/2 size bigger.

The shoes fit well (x wide) and are the soles are ok. But they are kind look like plasticy glorified galoshes. Seem a little overpriced for that cheap a look.

I struggled finding a pair of shoes that didn’t feel binding in the toes. These fit perfectly. Snug but not overly tight. Very comfortable and grip well

Great golf shoes, but they run a half size small. I own several pairs of New Balance sneakers and golf shoes they’re all the same size and fit perfectly. These however were way to small in my normal size, so order at least a half size up.

Comfortable and stable shoe. But if you get mud on the top remove it immediately because it will permanently stain the PU coating. I’ve tried everything just short of just short of sandpaper to remove it to no avail.Also, they run about 1/2 to a full size smaller.

This shoe is very light weight and very comfortable. The padding in the base is soft but supportive. The shoe looks great.My only complaint is the tongue below the laces. It is a flat flap tongue with no bellows or attachment to the shoes side, so I find small peddles and debris enters my shoe with some frequency. It is very inconvenient.

the shoes don't have very good support in the arches, i'll try inserts, if that don't work i'm going to send back,I have put insoles in the shoes & they are still the most uncomfortable shoes, after 18 holes of golf my feet are so sore, i am sending the back.
