Solid quality mic for streaming and videos
Very easy to set up on a Mac Mini - literally connected via the supplied USB-C cable and it was ready to go. The build quality seems good and the packaging gives it a 'premium' feel. The sound was a little echo-y on FaceTime, but for recording videos and podcasts using Screenium, it works really nicely. Sound was very clear. Cardioid mode cut out background noises really well and the recordings were rich and not tinny. It comes with a set of accessories - a mic stand and pop guard with an adjustable gooseneck. The lighting is quite fun and the package overall would make a great gift for anyone starting to podcast. One thing to note is that the package arrived in a box that showed the contents on the outside, so if you're thinking of this as a gift for someone in the house, it's something to bear in mind. You can probably ask for plain packaging at checkout.Overall, it's a decent mic at a fairly reasonable price.

Makes for a decent setup
Oversteel have really presented and packed this well so if you looking for a great Christmas present for the budding blogger in your life or building a home studio setup. The whole thing is made to a high standard with the microphone having a level meter fitted to provide instant feedback on the microphone levels. The RGB feature is preset so not capable of syncing with RGB systems. The anti pop filter works just fine and the clamping hardware is of good quality.Overall for the money its a perfectly good system that should serve well

useful Led streaming light
If you use zoom on your computer to chat to friends then this light is a great addition. The light gives very clear illumination of your head for the zoom camera and you end up with a much clearer image on screen. Also works as an overall desk light so really an excellent item for your desk top. Easy to set up, sturdy but lightweight. Recommended.

The webcam upgrade I have been needing
With online video conference calls become a more and more popular thing (sadly) where I work since Covid, I have been able to manage on a basic webcam for most of them. But as time's gone by, the "higher ups" at the company are on the calls more and I have had to do one or two presentations, so I've needed a better quality of webcam for a while. From the feedback I have received so far following webchats with friends at work, the picture is crystal clear and the frame rate seems to be very good. They can also hear me clearly too, which has been an issue a lot previously. It was very easy to install, and it's been easy to use so far. I'm more of a trial-and-error sort of woman, rather than reading a manual, and it's served me well so far with this. All the features are quite easy to work out and work very well.I'm really pleased I got this.

Works well.
A simple plug and play webcam with clear sound and high-quality video feed. It’s really simple to install, you simply plug it into your PC through a USB port. The webcam can then be clamped onto a monitor or laptop screen, and you can start video streaming right away. The video quality is good and sharp. There’s a built-in microphone that seems to work as expected, people on the other side can hear me clearly despite some noises coming from the television or my sons’ talking in the background.Overall, I find that this webcam works very well, maybe lacking some features as a more expensive one, but still very good for the price (£29 at the time of writing).

Compact, bright, adjustable temperature fill in light for streaming or conference calls
Out of the box the Oversteel Chromius fill in light comes with the light panel which is a small 24 x 15cm. It also comes with a weighty height adjustable stand. To help you get the angle of the light just right there is also a small ball head that if you choose to use it lets you adjust the angle of the panel. There 2m of cable – and its worth knowing that there is an inline switch on the cable; took me an age to work out why the light wouldn’t power on from the remote; never looked at the cable. My Oversteel Chromius Light came with an EU plug rather than a 3 pin uk plug. So, the first thing I did was put an EU-UK adaptor onto it. The light does power on when you find the inline switch on the cord, as there were no buttons on the device, I completely missed this at first (and the manual didn’t mention it, or I missed it. The light relies heavily on its remote control for operation; and batteries aren’t included. With some aaa batteries inside the remote, and the light powered to life it was clear it’s a handy light for streaming and conference calls. Sadly, as the remote is a generic one so using the buttons also made a mini projector and my desk fan start to do various tasks. The labels on the remote are screen printed for the light and it’s easy to operate; and various buttons on it make my desk fan as they share the device. The size of the panel means you can use it to light up lots of space; and its top-level brightness will dispel most shadows on your face, and likely give you light spots for hours afterwards. That size and brightness does mean you can also position it further away from you than smaller lights; which may offer some heat benefits as the light does warm up in use and the heat will be further away; and just space lit up.When it’s on there are hot and cold spots on the front from the separation of the LEDs; the light diffuser isn’t perfect. (Couple of photos so you can see this.) Positioning the light further away will also reduce the chance of uneven lighting. The hot spots do drop drop away as you reduce the intensity with the remote. The light itself is nice and stable; it didn’t show any flickering on my conference calls when it was on.The colour temperature is adjustable from a warm orangey white through 10 steps to a very cool bluish white. In the middle are some good daylight neutral whites. There is a Section button on the remote that jumps to some temperature pre-sets.For a smallish space the Chromius is a nice light; the stand is excellent – though mine wasn’t screen-printed like the ones in the product photos. The stand makes the light a lot more useful that it would otherwise be. You can attach the light to other stands if you need it higher or hanging overhead; but the included stand lets you lift the light to about 50cm (before the ballhead) and the ballhead makes it easy to adjust it to shine up or down. The weight of the stand keeps it stable. For a small fill in light it’s a good package; it doesn’t have a cheap wobbly tripod; it would have bene nice if it had a UK plug on it but if you want a light to improve your twitch stream; or just your zoom call for work it does a good job.
