How deep it will find a 1/4 gold nugget?

It does depend on the conditions (mineralization, soil condition, interference in the area, etc.) but I have seen it pull a 1/4 oz nugget at over 12" deep.

Can I use another coil than the two included? example, coil from an 800 series detector.

You can only use coils designed for the Gold Monster.
