SmallRig NATO Clamp, Quick Release Clamp with 1/4" 3/8" M2.5 Thread for DSLR Camera Cage Plate Monitor Support - 1885

I bought this after buying the nice rig version. Though close, the small rig is better made, better finish, and works a bit better. Yes, it's twice the price, but to me it's worth it. Small rig pays attention to little detail such as the 2 tiny screws the cover the adjustment space. The nice rig sticks out just a trace, be enough that the clamp won't mount flush. The finish on the nice rig is just not as perfect as the small rig. They both rattle about the same. To me the small rig is worth the price difference, but if you're on a budget, the nice rig works fine.

This clamp has helped to raise my side handle giving me clearance to all my side ports on my BMPCC4K.It also helps create a quick and easy way to store the camera in a backpack as well as luggage for traveling.Claps super tightly and move very smoothly when unclamped. Also, all the cut threads were clear of debris and burrs and were left smooth.

It doesn't fit small rig low profile NATO rail even after making adjustments. The low profile NATO rail is too wide.

This has been a very handy nato rail clamp to attach many things with. I love it. I have bought a few now to have on hand.

Quality build, functional. I use this to mount my Rode Mic or monitor. Very handy.

I spent about an hour with various files trying to get this to fit on my UUrig. Made me wish I went SmallRig all around, because then I would at least know where the fault lies. I do like the way this thing connects, but if there’s any issue with the fit at all, it doesn’t have a lot of room to miss. This was a pain in my butt but now it works.

The design is flawed and prevents the use of this item repeatedly, because after a few uses when locking the clamp, the clamp screw threads stripped out, so it won't lock (tighten). The design does not provide any precise control for locking the clamp down, there is only a full unlocked or locked, so even if you take the screws off and adjust/tweak the clamp sprocket, the clamp screw threads will strip after fully locking the clamp when under any kind of tension.
