I bought this as an inexpensive solution to make the backpacks I already own a little bit more friendly toward my shoulders. The instructions were to easy to follow, and the strap did improve the overall fit and weigh distribution. It won't make a heavy backpack feel light, but if you have tense shoulders to begin with, you will feel a difference. I am saving to buy a more back-friendly pack with hip support, but as those are quite expensive, this is some improvement in the meantime.

My backpack did not come with a chest strap so I took a chance with the Wisdom pro chest strap. It has turned out great and attaching it was easy. There is plenty of length in the strap so it should fit most people and adjustable.I now have two free hands when carrying my backpack which is good security.
