Schick Slim Fit Bamboo Razor
I like the thin bamboo handle as it stays secure in my hand, is not slippery, and feels balanced while shaving. The three blades give a nice clean close shave and I have not received any knicks or cuts. It comes with three replacement blades with a nice lotion(?) strip that lasts. I initially purchased this razor at my grocery during covid. Supply and demand was difficult during that time so I took a chance and made the purchase, I also liked that it was bamboo. Of course, my grocery is not carrying this product now so thank goodness for Amazon. The price point is good considering the blades last. I have always used Gilletes Satin Care Shaving Cream and this does not negatively affect the sharpness of the blades. As long as Schick keeps producing this Razor, I will keep purchasing it.

Gives a nice close shave!
Just ordered these and tried one today. Liked how lightweight it is and it did give a close shave on my legs. Also, like the bamboo handle, which is cool. Also, like the fact that it is a product that isn't plastic and is biodegradable.

Regular razor
These razors make me happy that there isn’t much plastic and are eco friendly. The downside with them is that the handles are long and skinny, a bit hard to grasp comfortably plus the bamboo handle can easily break. I’ve traveled with one and the handle broke in half in my luggage. I get nervous while shaving that if I press too hard, it’s going to break and I may cut myself by accident. Although these reasons don’t dissuade me from purchasing again, I may alternate with regular razors because the uncomfortable grasp. I do like that they’re eco friendly though.

Great razors!
I love these razors but they don’t seem to sell them locally. That’s where Amazon comes in. I was so happy to see that Amazon has them for a reasonable price and they literally arrived in one day. They are very flexible and I have yet to cut myself with them. They work really great and last a long time.

Broken handle
Handle breaks. This was 2nd time and only on first blade! Now I have two blades with no handle to use them!Love the shave though!

Thruhiker approved! Durable and doesn't get moldy.
I used this razor for an entire year while thruhiking 4,000 miles in 2024. It was my ultralight luxury item. It was so easy to put it in a tiny snack ziplock bag once it was dry and put it in my toiletry dyneema bag. Initially, I didn't think it would last. I thought the handle would get moldy and the blades wouldn't stay sharp. I was happily surprised that they never got moldy, and held its sharpness fairly well for over a year. Also, if you'd like to save a fracture of an ounce, you'd also use the razor without the handle too. ;) I loved it that it came with a tiny protective case for the razor too. I'd only use it once every four to seven days, whenever I got to a resupply town and was able to shower. I also am not very hairy and have thin hair. But it was amazing to always have it on me. I saved money by not having to buy disposable ones every time I hit a new town and helped our planed a little bit by not tossing a bunch of plastic in our landfills. To me, that's a win-win situation. Highly recommend! Thank you for making a great product!

Flimsy
Good blade but the shaft is so flimsy, you can't apply the amount of pressure needed for a good shave plus it gave me a splinter. Definitely not the best shaving experience I've had in my 40 plus years. Don't waste your money.
