replaced by OEM unit with no problems
I've been heavily using this for a little over a month now as a replacement for the OEM unit I somehow left in a hotel room. I didn't see my model listed, but the voltage and current numbers as well as the connector let me know it would be fine. Specifically I'm using this with a 17t-ch100 HP Envy laptop - works perfectly well. Seems decently well made, particularly for the price point. It seems like it will last. Only one minor quibble: I wish the cord between the AC/DC convertor was a bit longer (doesn't quite set on the floor when I'm at our table), but the overall length is good for my use. Thank goodness for solid replacement options! This is a good one.

Fit my laptop perfectly and doesn’t heat up as much as the provided 45 watt charger.

Hum, overheats, and will not work for HP 17t.
Unlike what the description says, this is not the proper charger to use with an HP 17t laptop. You need a 150w for that, otherwise it will occasionally say that it is "plunged in, not charging" and die on you anyhow. It can run the laptop without the battery attached, but will only work some of the time in specific plugs. The one I got also hummed when in use, and would get very hot when in strained use (cad soft where, video games, anything that was taxing to the system). this usually indicates that the power converter has something wrong with it so I asked for a replacement but ended up returning that as well once it failed to charge again. This is however a lot cheaper then the 130 dollar replacement charger from HP, and if you have a smaller laptop it might work out, you know if it dose not catch fire that is. Duds happen however on occasion, so just make sure to check the brick once and a while.
