20 Well Watercolor Paint Tray Palette Pallet Acrylic Painting Mixing Plastic Artist Large Square Palette, 13 x 10 Inches, White, 1PCS

I first got this product for a class; it's now my favorite watercolor palette!If you have watercolor tube paint, it is easy to squeeze some into the circular wells and let it dry--to paint more traditionally. Depending on how much you fill the slots, you can get a serious amount of paint in, so you might need a little patience to fully dry. The inside wells are large, so it's easy to mix colors, and I use the large circle wells for specialty colors like rose and burnt sienna (as I used all the other wells). I typically have red, yellow, green, and blue in warm and cool tones, so the eight wells are enough (plus the 4), but if you need more than that, you might want the smaller hexagonal pans you see around.It is a large pallet, which I enjoy, but it may be better for some. Typically, I use around 9x12 sketchbooks, which fit right in with my equipment and are portable enough with backpacks or shoulder bags. However, as a warning, they are not tiny. Regarding the material and price, I find this plastic pallet very sturdy, which is a huge plus! For plein air, it was also substantial enough not to blow away. I have broken one of these pallets, but that was on me as I stepped on it, and with the low price, it was not bad at all to replace.With this pallet, watercolor is easy to clean! When you are done with your colors, just take a wet paper towel or rag and wipe it down. You can also let them dry and rewet them later with a spray nozzle or paintbrush to keep the colors. There is no lid, so keep that in mind. Sometimes, I would bring a gallon plastic bag, a bad piece of paper, or saran wrap when traveling to place on top to make sure I did not stain anything else in my bag, but if you wipe it up/let the top layer dry, you should be fine, and it is easy enough to work around. I was traveling around with it for a couple of weeks, so that is probably more unique, and if you are keeping it in your house, you will be fine. Actually, some people used the plastic packaging, and it came in as a slight protector to any paper that might want to soak it up, so that's a small hack if you are on the go with this! It will fit perfectly over, but it could be more sturdy, so be careful when reinserting it.I would rebuy this product (and I have)!

I honestly didn't pay attention to the size. I was $4 shirt of the $25 overnight shipping, and I needed a new palette. I had look at several of them. They were all about the size- 8x5 and they were all $10-17 bucks. I was debating if I wanted one the closed or a flat one that doesn't close. I came across this, and I couldn't beat the price. I loved the layout. In the cart it went. 9 hours later it was in my hands. And. It. Is. HUGE. Lol I went back to the listing. Yup. Sure enough, it's right there is the title. Many Inches X Many More Inches. I was just momentarily blinded by the countdown of "if you order in the next 13 mins..." And skimmed the listing.I'm not complaining, per say.It's great quality. Arrived in under 9 hours. And I absolutely love the layout. It's just waaaay bigger than I expected. Or needed. I am keeping it. I'll definitely use it. Just differently than I had planned. But that's not the item's fault. Or the seller's. So 5/5 would highly recommend if you need a palette the size of a card table, this is the one for you!(A card table is a gross exaggeration for size comparison. It was used for comedic effect only)

I like to use this for large watercolor paintings with multiple light washes and gradient colors. I don't recommend for highly pigmented or concentrated watercolors as it will stain.

Love it for mixing! Hard to find pallets that have multiple large wells for mixing, but this one has it! At only $6 (at the time I purchased) it is a great price! Especially for the large size.Use it for water colors, provides plenty of space to mix different colors and shades. The one row of rectangular wells are tilted which is nice for certain applications. For the price, this is an AMAZING deal. Easy to mix colors in and the size is convenient to set on a desk near your painting. No issues with spillage. The sink we use to clean it is a little small (think bathroom sink size) but that isn’t the pallet’s fault! And I never have trouble cleaning it. It doesn’t bend and holds up, works well.I may order two or three more!

The best! Of all the paint palettes I have used this is the most comfortable and easiest ever. The superb functional design of the large round mixers for the thicker paints and slanted square for water mixing is so well organized. The plastic is a strong, easy to clean sturdy plastic, not brittle. Color mixing is so well organizable. You can take this with you anywhere as it is so light weight. That is why I got 3 of them, watercolors, acrylics and oils. I would recommend this to any school art classes. Use 'em. Follow up: I had one of these paint mixing trays and fell in love with the sturdiness and easy to clean whether using acrylic or watercolor. I wanted a few more and took me a while to find the brand name and company. I did and LOVE them. I even wrote down the name in my reminder book. SUPER STRONG AND STURDY! If they had a longer one, I'd get it. Get it, get it get it! These will last a lifetime!!

I’m using this to keep all my watercolor stuff together and in one spot and I’m shocked at how much this holds and there’s still room for more!! In the bottom section alone, I have four 5x8 sketch pads, and a box of 100 watercolor pencils and a bunch of other random items. In one of the top layers (approx 2.5”deep) I have 3 packs of brushes and 4 pallets, plus another sketch pad. There is really a lot of room in this box. Latches are secure. Handle seems sturdy, although I have only quickly lifted the box, don’t carry it by the handle due to the weight of everything I have in there. Perfect way for me to keep everything together and easy to move if I choose to paint in another area.

I like the sturdiness of this paint tray. I was surprised at the size of the tray.. as it is much bigger than expected. But the design is great... with many areas for the paint water and mixing. It is easy to use, but because of the size it does take up a lot of my art table space when I am using it. But for a painter that has a studio or art room with more space in it, this would be a perfect item or gift.

This is a nice big one to make washes in . Thats what I like about these bigger ones. Pretty good and easy to use and clean up after.

This palette is perfect for my needs. Plenty of wells for various colours, the wells are larger in size as well as deeper which is great for mixing up paint. It has a range of wells, from large squares and circles to a rew smaller wells if your just using a drop of paint. I’m happy.!
