I know wild yam needs to undergo chemical process to act as progesterone. Is this just ground up yam, or is it chemically altered for absorption?

I'm not sure how they process it but it's in a capsule form that works for me after a few days of taking my night seats and day hot flashes do not have them anymore which I am grateful for. Thanks. Hopefully this helps you.
