Hopefully I never have to find out how well this works. Got it for backcountry goat packing and elk hunting. Seems solid.

Tourniquets that usually come with First Aid kits will do in a pitch. But you need a tourniquet that is reliable and quick to use; I recommend this one. Most First Aid instructors recommend you have two tourniquets available in your kit; it might be a bit more expensive upfront cost, but certainly is worth it in an emergency! Strong, well constructed of quality materials and easy to use. Price is very competitive.

But if I do, I believe that this product will be most effective -- durable, easy to administer, and easy to pack in a backpack, bike bag, first aid kit, etc.!

I bought this to practice with and train my kids after attending a Stop the Bleed class. This is not intended to be used as a life saving device.

I started carrying this item in my car just in case I come across an accident and a tourniquet is needed. This item was demonstrated to me at First Aid training and CPR certification.

This is an item that you purchase and hope you will never have to use. Have great confidence in this item if needed.

Can't fully tell how well it works until it's (hopefully never) used, but it looks well made. Bought it because of the bright red color. I pre-staged it according to Skinny Medic's advice on YouTube.

Can't speak to how long it will last, but it works.
