Worst Product EVER! Does nto hold up to the Placker Name
I have been using Plackers for years and have had nothing but good luck and good things to say... Until these were delivered. l Was reading about the chemicals they make to have the floss easily get between the teeth. Some companies are using the same cancer causing chemicals used in non stick pans. I wanted to try and find one that would not have that as I don't really think the company would tell me if I asked. These have a very loose thin string that breaks normally after the second or third tooth. this means I would need 6 to 8 to floss each morning....... The material used for composting have been found to be hazardous as well. I am jut going to go back to the regular Plackers until I can find a good natural brand.

Wax or string?
The wheat straw plastic pick is great. The "string" is almost non-existant and is mostly made up of chunky wax. The wax comes off and sticks between your teeth, if the string even stays together long enough to get it between them. If any of your teeth are tightish you won't be able to floss. Plus, they come in an oil based plastic bag which defeats much of the point.

Yes it breaks easily, but only fully compostable flosser out there
I've wasted too much time going down rabbit holes trying to find a FULLY compostable floss pick - most of them have a plastic string, and they only advertise that in the fine print. Having a silk string makes these fully compostable in my Seattle curbside pickup. It makes sense that silk will snap easier than plastic.I want to support this product and hope that the manufacturer is reading these reviews and looking for ways to improve upon it. In addition to the string snapping (it takes me usually 3-4 picks per session), my biggest complaints:1. The pick is not deep enough to allow the floss to reach the gum on all of my teeth - the pick bumps into my other teeth. I can sort of reach the gum on the front and back by rocking the pick back and forth, but it really . I used Plackers before (I think micro mint) and those all reached my gums just fine.2. The glob of wax on some of them is kind of annoying, and it would be nice to have an unflavored version. The wax does help to get it into tighter teeth though.I will continue to use these for now and hope that improvements are made. They're not very expensive compared to other "compostable" flossers, so the thought of going through them quickly isn't a deal breaker.

These are useless
I wanted to love these. I paid more for them knowing I was doing better for the environment. You aren’t doing well for the environment when you buy these because it takes 4 of them to floss your entire mouth. The floss breaks after just a few teeth. I’m a dental hygienist, so I know how to floss properly, and my teeth are not tight enough to break any other floss. I’ve gone through the entire bag in record time and now feel guilty for wasting the money on them. Do not buy these.

Not as sturdy but plastic free
These are not as sturdy as the old plastic style, especially where the string is attached. One of them pulled out as soon as I slid it between my teeth. That being said, it’s worth it to get some thing that’s biodegradable instead of adding more plastic. Might try another brand when I’m out of this one, though.

Thread snapped every time on first try
I like this brand because it's always sturdy and reliable. I figured I'd try the eco-friendly version because I'm not a fan of plastic garbage. Every one of these snapped when I first went to use it. To be clear, every time I tried to push this between two teeth, it immediately snapped. Now I need to throw all these out and get the regular ones. Not a great way to prevent extra waste.

Break easily
I really wanted to like these. I don’t mind paying a bit extra for something that’s environmentally friendly. But every single one I’ve used broke. Except 2 that I used to finish up with. Otherwise I went back to regular floss - which is very awkward for me. I’ve used other flossers - lots of brands and they’ve never broken like this. If the thread was a little thicker? I don’t know. I’ll look for something else and won’t buy these again in a hurry.
