One of the best kojic acid soaps available, not for sensitive skin , one of the highest kojic acid soaps based on acid content , excellent lather, a stinging sensation when applied to skin that goes away, a sign that soap is working its magic , results are almost immediate, use at least twice a day , most recommend 5 minutes on skin but skin type will determine the time you should leave on skin , I leave on skin from 15 to 30 minutes at a time. Excellent value , deep orange color, soothing to skin, tightens pores , balances skin tone and improves your skin’s texture, I have tried other brands of kojic acid soaps , but this is my favorite

I’m absolutely loving this soap! The bars are 2.82 ounce each and 2 come in an order. They are the perfect size and have really worked wonders on my skin. After just a few weeks of use, my complexion looks noticeably brighter and more radiant. The soap has helped fade dark spots and even out my skin tone, leaving me with a smooth and glowing look. I appreciate that it’s SLS-free, paraben-free, and dermatologist-tested — it feels gentle on my skin but still effective. My skin doesn’t feel dry or stripped, just refreshed and rejuvenated. The soap lathers really well, and the scent is light and pleasant. Good thing 2 comes in a pack so I never have to worry about running out. UPDATE: I have been using this soap for a few months now. Usually every other day, as that's when I shower. My melisma is still in full swing. Meaning it hasn't help fade it at all. HOWEVER, I haven't had any cystic acne since using it! For that alone, I will keep using it! My skin feels extra clean using it. Also, I tried it on my privates - since that seems to be all the rage lately. I was very dry and scratchy "down there" afterwards. To the point I needed to apply some lotion or something. (I ended up using some Medela nipple lanolin - figuring that was safe for nips and babies to eat.) If you are going to try to lighten your privates, just know you might feel scratchy, too. Original review: Okay, I have only used this once, but I was terrified to use it after seeing other’s reactions. I did a patch test on my inner elbow, let it sit for a few minutes, washed it off and waited 24 hrs before actually using it in my face. So far, I lathered it up and washed my face. I let it sit for about 2 mins, then washed it off. My face didn’t feel clean, so I followed up with my regular cleanser. Tomorrow, I will use my regular cleanser 1st, then use this soap. I can’t tell if it is helping with my melisma yet, but I just wanted to say that I didn’t have my adverse reactions to it. I will update after using it more. The soap smells good & lathers well. Don’t know about the lightening or brightening effect yet.

The size of the bars makes them perfect for travel or home use. The shape is so pleasant and easier to lather than a classic clunky bar of soap. The color is bright and lovely, making them nice for a gift or display if you wanted. The scent is FANTASTIC, a bit orangey but in a very nice, mellow, sweet and smooth way. By the looks of the bar, I guessed they would feel a bit drying or harsh but they are quite the opposite. Not overly moisturizing (great for summer when lotion-y bars of soap can feel a bit heavy and greasy) but definitely gentle and softened my skin. It seemed to help slowly brighten some bug bite scars and left my skin feeling smooth, healthy, clean and soft overall. LOVE this soap (and have tried other Kojic Acid soap brands. Will be buying these again once I use up bar number two! Love that they come in a set)

I waited a while to write a review of this Kojic Acid soap because I wanted to give it time to...work. I ordered the soap on TWO separate occasions within a span of six months. There are two bars in the box and both times I ordered, it was delivered on time, and well packaged. Why did I order this soap? I have Keratosis Pilaris and was hoping to find a soap that could help with exfoliation, as well as helping lighten hyperpigmented areas like between my thighs,and other scars or marks left behind from skin breakouts. Usually,I use glycolic peels and lactic acid to help with hyperpigmentation since I have more of a chocolate complexion. So I thought I would give this soap a try. I will begin with the positives. First,this soap is nicely packaged and smells like...ORANGES! The first month,I used the soap... not everyday but a few times a week. I LOVED IT! Between my thighs is lighter now and my skin would feel exfoliated after leaving it on for about five minutes,and then rinsing it off. THEN..... After a few months of using it, MY SKIN STARTED TO BREAK OUT. I'm talking about first,my skin would become EXTREMELY ITCHY. Then little bumps would pop up all over my body. I never had blemishes on my chest area. NOW I DO. I wanted this soap to help me get rid of blemishes! Not to cause them. Even as I type out this review,my skin is itching terribly! I used the soap this morning. My skin is always a bit dry afterwards,but then I use lotion or oil to moisturize. At this point,I am SURE it is this soap that is causing grief. Since I am dark skinned,I now have to repair the damage done from this soap. It's upsetting honestly. I know some people will STILL purchase this soap even though there are numerous reviews of it breaking peoples skin out.But just know,you've been warned about the adverse affects. I'm going to go back to using glycolic acid and lactic acid to help fade blemishes and exfoliate. I will never purchase this soap again.
