Pet Dog Grooming Hammock Harness for Nail Trimming (XL 80lb), Dog Sling for Cutting Nail, Dog Hanging Holder Hanger for Clipping Nail with Nail Clippers, Nail File, Pet Comb

Product was fairly easy to use, securely held our 75# and 90# dogs. They were so calm during trimming! Dogs appeared very comfortable in the sling. The only challenge was looping the straps together and lifting the dogs up to the hooks (not included). Be aware that you will need to figure out a way to suspend the dog; our scaffolding worked well to hold them, but could use hooks or swing set, etc. Is a 2 person job with larger or heavy dogs!!

Let me start by stating I own a pug and I’m certain he was Houdini in a past life or he has seen way to many spy movies cause he is a krafty pug and has manages to escape from his locked crate can open drawers and has embraced his cat burglary skills. Did I mention he is overly dramatic with nails cutting. I was able to clip two nails before he transformed into a flying squirrel and was able to free himself from the sling. Thankfully the only thing hurt were my feeling cause he wouldn’t look at me or come near me for days ( I am his person or was until I betrayed his trust) I feel this will work with dogs who are mellow or at least cool with grooming not with over dramatic pugs who may or may not require some sort of mild sedation method. I will try the sling again but will require a minimum of two extra hand to either restrain him or perform an exorcist whichever the situation calls for because in any case it is going to be an adventure.

Only reason I’m writing a review cuz I have not used it yet is because the hooks at the top are positioned such so it colasps in the middle. They are not far enough away from corner to corner and the l xl needs stronger hooks not the little ones that hold a 5 lb dog

After many failed nail trim attempts from vets and groomers, the only way we could get our 90lb cane corso/pit mix’s nails done was with sedation. He’s just a beast and thrashes around and cannot be contained. We FINALLY found something that works! He thrashes around a little at first and then gives in - we give him a frozen licky mat to distract him and I’m able to cut all of his nails now. Wish I had found this years ago! We use a steel beam in the basement for hoisting and it works great. A two person job getting him up there but that’s just because of his size.

My dog tries to nip and is impossible to hold still while trimming nails. We bought the XL and she is about 65ish LBS. If held her no problem. She was actually very calm while suspended, which surprised me. She was only able to pull her foot away slightly, but with my husband holding it still for me, we had zero problem clipping her nails. The clippers that came with the sling are very sharp and work great as well. Nail time will be a breeze from now on. Wish I would have known about this sooner!!!

I purchased small for my tiny yorkie. It’s a good product by my girl can wiggle out of it in a second. She’s a master of escape!

Worked really well. It stabilized my dog without causing pain.

With this hammock I managed to trim and polish nails of my pitbull - dogs are totally helpless in this hammock even if they don't like something they cannot escape, cannot attack, etc.
