Best foam for costumes!
I got this clay as a first time animal suit maker--I'm making a Wendigo outfit for Halloween--and I needed to make adjustments to the skull I got commissioned, as well as the claws I ordered. Neither have come in yet, so I decided to test the clay out by making the paw pads for the claw hands. Easy to work with, stayed moist and malleable even after being left alone for a little while as I ate, and continued to be workable throughout the entire process. I left it overnight to dry, and to my pleasant surprise, it not only DIDN'T shrink, but puffed up just a bit! Which is excellent for what I need, considering they're going to be buried in faux fur. But the best part? It didn't lose shape or details when it puffed up. Those all remained the same. And I wasn't even aiming for details myself, considering I'll be sanding these down to smooth them out. I'll also be painting them! Anyways, I'm buying more for future projects. This stuff is honestly great, and for the price, it's an absolute steal. If you're thinking about getting this, I recommend you absolutely do.

Great product - - some shrinkage when dry though!
Overall, it's a great foam clay; the only issue is that it shrinks while drying. I recommend doing a test in advance to determine the shrinkage amount, especially if you are making a helmet, body armour, or something where the fit matters. It is easy to use, somewhat flexible when dry, and a lightweight but strong finished product. I recommend using a primer before painting.

Amazing Foam for Crafting!
I bought this foam for my girlfriend to use in making clay models of animals and masks, and itโs been absolutely amazing. The quality is top-notch and it's really easy to work with. She loves how versatile it is, allowing her to create detailed and intricate designs. It holds its shape well and provides a smooth surface for painting and finishing touches. While it is a bit on the expensive side, there's nothing else quite like it in terms of quality and usability. If youโre into crafting or model making, I highly recommend this foam. Itโs perfect for a variety of projects and delivers great results every time!

Fun , but limited
If you are deciding whether this clay might be useful, buy the smaller size. I bought the 1.1 lb size, and I don't know if I will ever use it all. Pros: light, soft, fun to play with, has about an hour of work time before it starts to harden too much to manipulate. Would be fun for kids. Air dries after about 48 hours. Cons: a bit too soft, and the sculpted object will not hold its shape until about after an hour, so it's difficult to support a piece in that time if it has vertical elements. It also sort of squishes down if it has any substantial weight to it. When fully hardened, after about 48 hours, it is too fragile for many projects. I've seen images of flowers with thin petals made with this, and I would not recommend using this clay for that kind of sculpture because the thinner it is, the more likely it will break. While it's advertised as being for use in making "cosplay" , it breaks very easily, so I don't think it would be good for things like ears, or anything that could stick out and be liable to bang on a doorway or another cosplayer. It might be useful for chunkier cosplay parts, but I wouldn't use it for very large items, like masks, or ornate armor pieces because it would be tremendously disappointing to spend hours making something only for it to break if you accidentally knock it off a table. You can see from the video how easy it is to break, also, it's easy to leave marks on the fully cured item. Final rating: While it appears to have more cons than pros, this is in reference to my intention of being able to build cosplay pieces, which I don't think this clay is really suited for, except for specific circumstances, I gave it four stars, because I can see it being fun for kids to play with. It's easy to use, doesn't require baking, and it's fun to squish around in your hands because of its soft texture.
