A SPINNER RING is a ring that has an inner band locked in place that can be spun while the rest of the ring stays in one place on your finger. The spinner ring is believed to come from ancient Tibetan meditation traditions, and is called a "worry ring" because spinning the right is believed to have a calming effect on the mind and body. It is an awesome accessory to occupy idle hands and calm your mind. Spinner rings (also called worry rings) are frequently used as a stress relief tool, and are beloved by people with ADD everywhere. They have also been used to reduce nail-biting and other bad habits by keeping your hands busy.NO BEARINGS OR LUBRICANT - The inner and outer rings have no lubrication between them, nor do they need any. They have no bearings or small parts that wear down over time. The rings are simply smooth steel bands held in smooth steel grooves. If they get dirty or gritty, just wash them in soapy water. No need to clean them with harsh chemicals, alcohol, or WD40! Just submerge them in warm soapy water, and firmly rub the spinning band against the groove to polish out stuck-in crud.Free Laser EngravingUpon lots of customization requests, we now offer free laser engraving service for this item, if needed, please send us your engraving information through e-mail after you placed the order. Got the silver and the quality is wonderful!
I ordered this as a replacement spinner ring for another type I gave away. First of all - it's true to size and spins really well right out of the bag! I wasn't a huge fan of the sandblast finish, but I'm more used to it now (a shiny finish would get scratched easily, anyway). As a bonus, this would work as a nail file or even as sandpaper in a pinch. It has a slightly more glittery look than the product photo shows - the texture is rougher, but not bothersome or painful. Per the usual, the spinning is quiet unless you flick the ring hard with your thumb - if you're rotating it with small motions it shouldn't bother anyone. And naturally there are metallic rattling sounds sometimes since the spinning ring needs to fit a little loosely, but this is completely par for the course and if you are new to spinner rings, you get used to them after a while. Personally I like hearing the metal clink a little against itself.I got the silver one because I saw in some reviews that the rose gold, blue, and I think rainbow color options started fading after a while. It's a clean, modern look that goes well with pretty much anything. Some other spinner rings I looked at on Amazon are a bit iffy in terms of quality, but this one is definitely legit as far as spinning and true sizing and it's one I can definitely recommend. Love the price, too!

Exactly what I needed
This was my second attempt at a fidget ring, and I'm so glad I got it. I've got anxiety and adhd, and I have a subconscious habit of picking at the skin around my nails, sometimes to the point of bleeding. I've done it my whole life, but I stumbled upon fidget rings and gave them a try in the hopes of breaking my bad habit. The first few I tried had little beads I could move around, but I would still pick and I didn't use the rings often enough. This spinner ring is great, it really helps me focus and I've started subconsciously trying to spin it instead of pick at myself. I'm so happy I got it! Definitely worth a try. Make sure you measure your finger to get the right size. I found a print-out ring sizer and it was spot on. So far this doesn't turn my skin green, like other rings, and the rose gold hasn't faded.4 stars only because it doesn't spin as well as I hoped, but it still does exactly what I need it to do. It gives me something else to do subconsciously so I stop picking at myself, and it helps me focus instead of getting distracted all the time.I heavily recommend if you have adhd, anxiety, or pick/bite your fingers and nails.
