A perfect balance
When it comes to pizza peels, there's only a few things you look for. Thin enough to slide under the dough. Stiff enough to securely lift a loaded pie. Easy to clean. This one hits the mark on all of them. I received the peel today, and was fortunate enough to have dough ready to go. I made poolish 2 days ago, made dough yesterday, and slow fermented in the fridge until today. I pulled a dough ball out of the fridge, while I washed and assembled the peel. 1 hour later, the dough was ready, shaped, dressed, and on the peel. Easy to slide, and easy removal in the oven. On a plus note, this is my first peel with holes in the face. I was a little concerned than my 70 % hydration dough would sag in the holes and stick. On the contrary, they made sure there was no extra flour between the crust and the stone. If I ever need another one (I don't know why because a metal peel won't wear out) I would gladly buy again.

Heavy duty & worth every penny
For the past few years I’ve been using a pizza peel from a commercial restaurant supply as shown in the picture. I finally but the bullet and bought this perforated peel and I wish I’d have bought one sooner. I’m very pleased with how solidly built this peel is. We cook pizzas weekly on a big green egg as well as a traeger and this is a welcome addition. I am very satisfied with this purchase, worth every penny.

Wide peel provides stability but may be wider than some ovens
Excellent tool, with outstanding non-stick coating. A small amount of flour is all it takes for the crust to slide on/off. The width/depth make it very stable for handling and easily accommodate a 12-13 inch pizza. It fits well into the mouth of our Gozney pizza outdoor oven, but might be a little too wide for some smaller outdoor ovens. The handle length is just right; we have also used it (on rainy days) for the indoor oven, where a longer handle might pose some issues in a smaller kitchen.

A GOOD GI metal clone for one third of the price
I spent a lot of hours searching for a peel like this. I basically wanted the GI metal peel but didn't want to spend $130 for it (I can't think of a reason it should be THAT expensive). There thousands of clones out there - most of them are a very bad quality. Not this one. This one is awesome and easy to use.I also happened to contact the manufacturer and received a great customer service.

Great Perforated Pizza Peel
I have watched “Vito” (youtube) scoop under a fully dressed Neapolitan pizza with his perforated peel, and same goes with “Massimo” (also youtube). The peels they use cost a lot more than I felt I could justify for the volume of pizzas I make, and The Italian Kitchen version in the 13” size looked like a great opportunity to experience a perforated peel without breaking the bank. It looks pretty close to being a clone of the more expensive versions used by the pros, and was the only one I could find on Amazon in the 13" size. The only shortcoming (for me) is the relatively short handle – too short for the 850+ degree heat output and size of my pizza oven, but an old wooden rake handle was given a new lease on life by serving as a longer handle for the new peel. The performance of the perforated peel has exceeded my expectations. I stretch and dress the pizza dough on a wooden pie dough board, lift the front edge of the prepared pizza slightly, and slide under the pizza with a quick motion. I give it a slight back and forth jerk to allow any excess flour to fall through the holes in the peel, and then enjoy the clean release onto the pizza oven floor. A turning peel does the rest.

Works excellent on BGE Pizza
The media could not be loaded. I have been making pizza many years on BIG Green egg and hear before in the oven. I always assembled my pizza on a wood peel with cornbread and easily slid onto the stone on the egg. After attending a pizz Ana d gelato making class in Tuscany Italy, they used a perforated metal peel and turning peel in the wood fired oven ( both Gi-metal brand ) . This is perfect size and handle for use on big green egg. Pizza slides on and off very easily with normal angle and effort. Very happy with the quality and price of this peel.

The last pizza peeler you will ever need!
Let me start by saying this. I do not typically write reviews, but since I got my patio done recently (perfect for the times we currently live on) I have been spending some time enjoying our pool and cooking. And of course, what better way to end your day than with pizza and beer. So, with that said, I have been on the hunt for good quality tools to accompany my new outdoor kitchen and this PIZZA PEELER is truly the complete package and more. The flour does not get stock on the pan, is thin, light weight and obviously and the length is perfect. I tried some others before but after giving this one a try I am ready for switch those old ones and ready to buy a couple more of this.

It is very good!
I like this Pizza Peel because it is light, sturdy, easy to clean and the size is wide than others I've seen on amazon. I bought mine while it is on sale. Sad to say I am not applicable for their free e book recipe and free pizza cutter as part of their promo because I bought mine on a sale price. Sigh..., anyway, it was a good purchased. I recommend to buy this pizza peel, I'm sure you will be satisfied.

Wertiges Produkt
