The best money I've ever spent on a hair tool!
My new favorite hair tool, ever! It's not a flat iron, though it looks like one. Here's how I use it: I shampoo my hair, and towel dry. I hop out of the shower and plug in the Kiki. I smooth my favorite conditioner or hair mask into my hair, and comb through. I like Matrix Biolage, Don't Despair Repair and any Purelogy hair mask. Then, I run the Kiki through each strand of my damp hair, concentrating on the top of my head, where environmental damage from sun exposure and also through the ends, where split ends may happen. On an evening, I might do my whole head. The tool can make a noise at time--a high pitched noise, which I think are the plates vibrating together. When my head is done, I hope back in the shower and rinse. After the first use, I noticed a huge difference with how soft my hair felt. It was much easier to brush, much softer. Now, every time I shampoo, I will take the extra time and use this little tool. It makes such a big difference I can't even believe it! My hair is super soft now, when it used to be coarse and unmanagaeable. I was thinking about getting a keratin treatment to make my hair more manageable, which run upwards of $200, but this little tool has saved me a lot of money!Oh, if I don't use the tool, my hair still retains the same softness after shampooing and conditioning. I think the idea is that the plates vibrate the hair, and the infrared light opens the hair shaft a little more to help the conditioner penetrate the hair a bit better. It really works. And you don't have long hair to use this tool. If you can use a flat iron on your hair, you can probably get some benefit from this tool! You won't regret this purchase. It's amazing.

My hair feels as good as it did before I over-bleached it.
I was skeptical about whether this product would be as effective as it's described, but I'm blown away at how my hair looks now. After 6 months of DIY trial and error shenanigans, I have some seriously bleach damaged hair. It was almost to that point where it acted like stretchy ramen noodles when it's wet. I saturated my hair with "Mongongo & Hemp Seed Oils High Porosity Moisture-Seal Masque" mixed with some Aphogee 2 step protein solution, and followed the directions for this tool. It took an hour or so to do my whole head a "wisp" at a time, but now that I've washed my hair, it feels about as smooth, strong, and silky as it did before I started bleaching it.I'd give it a perfect 5/7

I dont think its as great at the 200+ fancy ones
I dont think its as great at the 200+ fancy ones, but my hair looks smoother and shinier. I have also had several friends compliment how my hair has looked healthier. I will continue to keep using twice a week.

Received defective or fake
The mirrored plate was heating up (it is NOT supposed to!) and I had to return the iron.

Good product. Hair is healthier and cuts my drying time in half.

You get what you pay for. Buy a better one.
Terrible. Made a high pitched squealing noise when I closed the barrel on my hair. If I didn't depress the barrel all the way the noise stopped (but then wasn't all the way pressing on my hair). The noise was literally so ear piercing I couldn't use the product because it hurt my ears to much, I returned this. Obviously not a quality product. Obviously not quality tested. This was an OBVIOUS defect.
