Even on sale it was a bit of sticker shock, but in this case, I think it was worth it. Looks good, nice weight and size, well balanced. Has so far cut anything we've tried like a lightsaber. Watch for any body parts you don't want sliced. = )

Bottom line - would highly recommend. I ordered this to replace an old boning knife that broke (handle). So far, I am very happy with this knife. It comes well packaged with a good 'presentation' (would make a good gift). The knife itself is in a leather sheath inside the box. The box also includes a button/magnet and 2 decals of the brands logo. The knife itself seems well crafted and feels like it is made from quality materials. The blade is slightly flexible and very sharp. For me, the handle is very comfortable and easy to maintain a good grip even when my hands are slippery from handling raw meat. So far I have used it a couple times - once to trim up a Boston butt before smoking it and another to trim and debone another butt (on sale and wanted to freeze in smaller portions). This knife worked extremely well and the slight flexibility made the knife easy to work with. My old knife was much more rigid and I am finding I greatly prefer the slight flexibility of this blade. Overall, I am very happy with this and would recommend it.

Solid fileting knife. Perfect size for trout at 7 inches. I fileted and cooked my first rainbow and the knife made it easy. Highly recommended.

Very flimsy, not for bigger fish. The tip doesn't follow the rest of the blade due to it being not ridged at all, will fillet the meat off the skin but won't do the initial fillet very easy. Only holds an edge for maybe 1 fish

Put simply: A Beautiful knife. Good weight, good balance, nice edge, nice angle, perfect length, and made beautiful fillets of my 40 dollar chunk of halibut. Delivered cigarette paper slicin' sharp. This is a Knoif. (see photos) It's next to what I consider my full size chefs' knife in one of the photos. The Sheath is, indeed, leather and smells like it. The kit includes a branded pin (like a lapel pin) but it also has a magnet on it. Pin, Magnet - I don't know what it's suppose to be. I had a talk with mine, and it told me it identified as a pendant. I put it on a chain and told it, "You're a pendant." This fillet knife is excellent quality, well made, beautiful, and extremely sharp. The knife isn't the only thing that's beautiful but the packaging as well, it comes in a genuine leather sheath, along with some stickers, and a pin/magnet. The knife is easy to use/handle, it's great how easy it is to slice through things now, and nice balance. My husband really loves his knives and he also loves this knife. Overall, I'm happy with this product and feel like it's worth the money based on the quality.

Seems like a good quality knife. It’s pretty sharp but could be sharper in my opinion but I guess it all depends on what you’re going to be using it for. Overall I’ve seen the same knives for a lot more money so I think this is a good buy. It also comes with a nice box you can store it in

That it’s very sharp and gets the job done

Rarely do l find a knife of such high quality that amazes me and is affordable! This filet knife blade l personally bent beyond 45 degrees and it sprung back to perfect form. lt comes quite sharp but with a few strokes on a sharpening steel it is truly razor sharp. You can spend more on a knife but it will not deliver more, trust this advice!
