When i received my watch. i set the time/date and pressed the silver dial in after removing the plastic & it is not working. do i need a new battery?

Before buying a new battery check and see if there is something covering the battery to keep it for making contact with the watch. They put it over the battery so it will not run while in transit. Hope this helps.
