I’m not usually one for writing reviews but I had to for this - it really does work. I thought it would be a bit of a gimmick but it really does stay cold for a long time. I rinsed it under cold water, drained the excess water out and put it in the freezer before we went out. It lasted a good 2 hours being cold to the touch in 23° weather. I just used a bottle of cold water when we were out to make it cool again and it worked great! Not sure how it actually works, it’s pretty much dry, doesn’t make your dog wet at all. His fur underneath was dry and nice and cool. For sizing it is a little off, I bought him a M but probs should’ve stuck with the S. M still fits tho, best for small dogs.

The vest wasn’t a good fit was very poorly made When I ordered the size to fit the weight of my dog it was a medium when it arrived and I tried it on her it wouldn’t fasten about three inches difference so if ordering I would size up at least two sizes very disappointed

This cooling vest is perfect for my pup. Her haircuts tend to fall half way through the hot summer months so she tends to be very fluffy during some of the hottest months of the year. She’s always banging on the door to get out just to sit outside but with this cooling vest now she doesn’t need to! And even when she does she doesn’t have to stick to the shady parts of the garden. When the vest gets warm it goes rock hard but it takes no time at all to cool it once put in the freezer or fridge. I love my dog and I’m so glad I’ve found a solution for the hot days, particularly with the heat waves we’ve been getting where I live. It’s great being able to see my pup able to enjoy the weather just as much as we do without worrying she’s overheating.

This is a great product for keeping dogs cool and comfortable, it’s well made, easy to put on but a little smaller than expected so maybe size up.

Product great but I've a medium dog and couldn't even do it up hence stars

It does keep my 11yr old cockapoo cool and happy to walk even in this hot weather. I feel she is safer that way so we are both enjoying this purchase. Medium size is a little on the tight side for her but it does fit and she does look comfortable wearing it. She is the size of an average cocker spaniel, is very fluffy at the moment and weighs 15kgs. Hope this helps anyone considering buying this item. I definitely recommend it.

Waste of money it shrank didn't fit my pug after it dried

As pictured and described. Easy to use and reuse. actually does seem to work in keeping the dogs cool. Easy to put on and off. They seem happy wearing it. Does appear to make them feel cooler underneath. Happy with purchase for price paid.

this same material is the best for human cooling cloths as well, same fabric, but it will always dry out hard and crispy just the nature of it but cools the best over all other "cooling fabric" types. Be aware it will eventually dry out hard and crispy on your doggie after a certain amount of hours. Also for this and other cooling shirts that stay wet so much they start developing mildew smell so will need a vinegar rinse then wash.

Is seems like cardboard, don't even try it, this is not cloth. A total scam

My little pup overheats in a minute and this really does keep her cool on her walks. They run small. Shes usually a small, had to get her a medium. I wish there were a hole for her harness / leash. She wears it over the harness.
