Greenwood Essential Pure Juniper Berry Essential Oil (Juniperus communis) Steam Distilled 10ml (0.33 oz)

This is a premium essential oil that is 100% natural and is steam distilled, so you can be safe knowing that there are no contaminants or other pollutants in this oil. It is not a cheap oil by any means, but that's because you're paying for quality and you really get your money's worth.The juniper oil scent is nice and refreshing and is perfect for use in a diffuser. It's important to note that this is very concentrated thick oil, so don't add too much to your diffuser. Use a single drop and see how that is, then if you feel like you could do with more, feel free to add another drop.For use on skin, you MUST use a carrier oil like coconut oil to dilute it in, otherwise it could irritate your skin due to its high concentration. I personally don't like to use essential oils on my skin, so haven't tested this side of things.Overall, I think this is a great essential oil for diffuser use and would highly recommend it!

Admittedly I'm a layman when it comes to diffusers - I thought these were the small bottles I normally buy that you just drop into some water before using with tea lighters or diffusers.With this you get very little instruction - just a bottle of very thick oil - it comes out like very thick honey. There is a note inside the box recommending microwaving the concentrate before use, but you actually need a ‘carrier oil’ to use the concentrate.After a little research I found you can either buy the carrier oil or use your own - can use coconut oil, avocado oil, seed oils and even some (but not all) vegetable oil. Seems you need a safe oil, ones that don't smell too much or are odorless. So you need a jar/container to add the oil first, then add the concentrates (you can mix and match complementing fragrances) - that's where microwaving for a few seconds will thin the concentrate allowing it to come out easily. Once mixed, you will need a funnel and a smaller bottle to store the created mixture.I struggled with this as I didn't have any of this, just the normal diffusers - I will need to research more to try and find which carrier oil is best/better to use.The juniper berry which I chose almost at random, hoping for a flowery smell, is far from flowery but it's more snappy, tangy and piney fresh - something I would use to freshen or wake me up.

It cam easily be used in various different ways, from aromatherapy oil blends to even diffuser blends. Unlike some brands here on amazon, this essential oil is 100% pure and natural. Hence you can rest assured that what you are breathing in or putting on your body (with a carrier oil) is safe.It comes in an amber glass dropper and is very easy to use. It has a great lid locking mechanism so won't lose its quality quickly. I can image this essential oil will smelling amazing for the years to come before going off. Greenwood Essential Pure Juniper Berry Essential OilGreenwood's bottles have improved over time, and I prefer to have dropper tops that dripulators as the latter could never give you an exact measure of oil. Juniper berry essential oil has a fresh scent which is why I'm excited to use it in my laundry one day. It is best used in a diffuser as it purifies the air of any bad smells. I also plan on mixing a few drops into my night cream and seeing if my face will grow any younger. The bottle says best before 36 months from its manufacturing date, which made me doubt whether it's really pure. They also stated that they outsource some of their oils, but I've tried other Greenwood oils and have always been satisfied with the quality. I will keep it in the fridge just to be on the safe side.

It's not the first product of this company I've been using, and all of them so far have proven to be of good quality. This one is no different.The scent is strong and recognizable. The bottle comes with a little plastic part to help to dose drops of oil. First, you have to remove a small plastic lid that protects the bottle and then insert the long plastic part into the bottle You can screw the white cap without removing it again for a faster use next time.I mixed mine with coconut oil, made by the same brand, and it works very well.Definitely worth mine reccomendation.
