Charming Colorwork Socks: 25 Delightful Knitting Patterns for Colorful, Comfy Footwear

I want to knit every pattern! Everything is easy to understand and follow. I haven't done much colorwork before and this was still accessible. I've almost finished my first sock & the fit is great. I can see my tension & etc. improving and I'm excited to see how the 2nd sock will compare to the first in that regard.I don't think any pattern goes over 3 colors handled, and the patterns are varied. There are short socks, long socks, and there's even a touch of lace on one pattern. Some of the pairs have all-over colorwork while others have some only at the ankle and maybe the toe.The beginning has a lot of info that I found especially helpful, especially regarding tension & color dominance. She describes how to organize your yarn to prevent tangling and how to handle your floats to avoid a poor fit.It's always good when a book has multiple patterns you want to make, and personally I'd like to try all of these. I'm planning to get some cute shoes to pair them with : )

Beautiful book with so many ideas I'm workinh on red pepper socks for my grandson. Coming along just fine.

I like this book because I like the challenge of making one of a kind socks.

Fun easy color work patterns with lots of sizes to choose from. Charts can be altered to use all or less of the design. I ordered from the library first and then bought a copy for myself. One of my favorite books.

Even if I never knit any of these socks, I would still be so happy that I ordered this book! Charlotte’s patterns are so easy to follow. The charts are clear, and there are so many helpful tips in this book! It was so fun to flip through it and plan which to knit first. And some are seasonal, so there’s something for every time of the year. Definitely a must-have for sock knitters new and experienced!

I love thé patterns, thé Heel flap design is enjoyable, the gusset directions are easy to understand however the decreases for the toe are confusing. The patterns seem to alternate between instructions for dpn’s and magic loop (?).

The patterns had a variety of stranding for all seasons.

وصلني بحالة ممتازة الصوره كبيرة وواضحه وفيها كمان رسوم البكسيل اللي توضح لك بعض التفاصيل بالارقامالتعليميات واضحة بالرموز وفي بالنهاية الصفحات توضيح لجميع الرموز اللي بالخطوات عملت جوربين من الكتاب وكانت المقاسات صحيحه والتعلميات سهلة انصح بالكتابمستوى الصعوبة يختلف في بعض الجوارب سهلة والبعض الاخر صعب يحتاج تقنيات ومشاهدة فدويهات لشرح التقنية مثل '' النتوءات البارزه بشكل دائري '' بشكل عام الكتاب سلسل وسهلانصح فيه للفئة اللي بالفعل اشتغلت على جوارب من الاعلى الى الاسفل او اشتغلت جوارب بشكل عام .

Me encanta el formato, ni qué decir del contenido .Es un muy buen libro que cumple mis expectativas en cuanto a tejer calcetines, muy buena referencia. Si se publica un segundo libro seguro que lo compraré.
