great idea and practical
So a buddy of mine had some of these set up on his rig, and I asked about them. Mentioned they were affordable and pretty useful. Well, he was right, they work great and keep my magazines held in tight and easily insert/removed. Not worried about them falling out while in use on my bags or rigs. Would recommend. Only thing left now is to see how long these "rubber bands" last. But so far, everything seems well made with good materials.

Great value for range accessory
Good value for the money. I bought these for a rifle instructor course so I could hold AR mags on my duty belt. They can be stacked together or used individually. They fit on my duty belt fine. They worked perfectly fine for the range. Held mags snug enough for alternative shooting positions and moving and shooting, yet mags came out smooth for quick reloading. I don’t know if they would hold up for patrol duty as they are plastic and rubber bands, but they work great for range activity.

Pretty good bargain.
Put on my plate carrier last night. Seems to have pretty good retention and they let mags go with a little twist of the wrist while you pull. Easy to reinsert back into the carrier. Works a little better with aluminum mags but Pmags fit just fine. Those are the only 2 brands I have so I can vouch for Hexmags or anyone else. I can imagine they would be any different.Only down side I can really think of is that they really stick out pretty far. I'll probably just end up putting the singles on instead.AK mags wont fit, I tried. I know someone will asked eventually. The lip prevents them from sweating all the way down.Overall I'm satisfied with this purchase. Definitely got my money's worth. Maybe even enough left over to put some mags on another vest.

Seem good to go
I use these for milsurp 5.56 mags. They hold well and seem fine. Much less expensive than other options. Taco is better, but cost 4x as much. I haven't had them long enough to judge long-term performance but a few pretty intense range days and no issues. Firm hold but easy to draw. I put a full mag in, turned it upside down and shook, stayed put. I would buy these again. They don't have to be stacked, by the way, and will mount as 4 individual pouches. Came with replacement mounting straps, which I thought was a nice touch. Overall happy.

Excellent AR magazine holder
Great product for AR mags. Can be worn on a gun belt, chest rig, or as part of your kit. Due to the retention you can wear them right side up or upside down and they hold the mags in place even when on the move. They work equally well side by side or stacked on top of each other creating a double stack.

Need new retention method
Overall I like the design and the compatibility of stacking them. But the design with the retention bands on the bottom just don’t hold up. Two of mine have already broke and I haven’t even used them in training yet.

The best 556 Magazine holders! IMO
The best set of Magazine holders that I have ever bought! These are not the cheap ones that you are going to have to buy some plastic taco part to hold them tight. These are wide enough to put the magazine in and easily pull them out.

I've tested them out and have to say pleased with the purchase
I've tested them out and have to say pleased with the purchase. While they're plastic, and the retention of the mags are with a rubber band that probably won't last a long time out in the sun, they're a great deal. 10 for $40 , or $4 a piece and I won't lose any sleep when the rubber bands stretch out. They hold AR mags with plenty of retention, and will hold a couple of my pistol mags with retention, but some of the slimmer double stack mags will be loose. I've placed a zip tie around the lower rubber band on the ones that will hold the looser mags and it holds them perfectly plus this probably will take care of the rubber bands ever stretching or breaking in the future. AK mags will not fit in these. The pistol mags that were too loose until I put the zip tie on them were from a Sigma 9 and an M&P 9. While I wouldn't expect these to last long in a battlefield situation, they're perfect for using at the range.
