Self Watering Animal Planter, Cute Style Ceramic Mini Backpack Plant Pot Self Watering Animal Planter Straw Cup Self-Watering Planters by Sportsvoutdoors (Style 2 -Dog)

As a dog lover, I thought this would look cute on my windowsill. It was a unique idea to supply the water to grow the seeds using the dogs "tongue" lapping up water from the little bowl. The instructions for assembling the planter were in less than clear english, so I did the best I could, and planted the enclosed mint seeds in the pot and soil supplied. Surprisingly, the seeds did sprout in a few days, but they also collected a considerable amount of mold that I kept removing. The seeds never really amounted to much of anything, and eventually I just gave up. I threw out the tiny pot and soil, set the dog in the water bowl after cleaning, and placed a cute little air plant inside of it instead. It looks much nicer on my windowsill this way.Would I recommend this to anyone else? No, though it appeared like it would have made a cute gift, it's much more useful just holding my own little plant. It was a unique idea, but don't expect to get any usable plants!

It never grew

Very small. All instructions are in foreign language. All online instructions are poor and do not explain thoroughly how to use soil and insert seeds.

I thought there was going to be two in the package and the item was significantly smaller than anticipated. I chose this seller because I thought there were two in a package. I recommend getting it from other sellers that sell it for less.

This plant is adorable, good quality, and a great size (water bottle in pic for size comparison). But the instructions are not in English so I can't figure out how to make it grow! I wish Amazon would stop selling foreign items.
