i will never buy another brand again. this is a great choice as the texture is a lot thicker than i had imagined and the color is true to real blood with a deep red rather than a red-pink tone. take a little while to dry completely but looks great when it does. most importantly, it doesn’t stain skin or sinks! it washes right off with regular soap and water.

I cannot begin to describe how good this was for my Halloween costume. It stayed in place so well and came off seamlessly. Didn’t stain my dress even though it was on it for 5 DAYS between 2 Halloween parties. 10/10 I would definitely get this again. Many people asked if it was homemade because it looked so good!

4 stars because this product is incredibly sticky and gets EVERYWHERE. However, the result was great! Perfect for my Anne Boleyn costume

I got this makeup for a Pre-Halloween party and I've used a lot of fake blood makeup in the past which ended up looking more like I spilled ketchup or red paint on myself than actual blood. Well right off the bat this stuff was thick, like type 69 diabetes, that person's blood is made of corn syrup thick. But it went on easy enough. It's a bit sticky until it drys and I found out that once dry that stuff will stay until soap and WA water are applied. 10/10 just for that! So then to test realism I pretended to loudly "cut my hand on a soda can" while my roomie was in the other room, she has a weird reaction to like paperclips and stuff, like cannot handle that type of blood but the saw movies are fine. Anyway I dabbed a little on my hand and asked for a bandaid.... oh boy I thought she was gonna hurl, and I just fuckonh lost it! All that to say, yeah this shit looks real good! 10/10 wpuld buy again and recommend!

I got this not thinking it would be good but omg I’m obsessed with it!! I used it for a Halloween costume and the blood looked real. I can be messy cause it doesn’t dry so beware of that and it also stains on the skin so when washing it off make sure to scrub real good!!

I’ve used Mehron products for Halloween makeup for years. I used to buy it from the dedicated costume and makeup effects store my town once had. This is the stuff people who know what they’re doing recommended to me—and I’m so grateful for that expert advice, because when I had to shop on Amazon I didn’t have to take a gamble on random sketchy products from companies that use who knows what. I wanted to make an effect of bloody tears coming from my eyes, and I didn’t want to risk anything even slightly dubious near my eyes. Even if safety weren’t a consideration, this is the best product, hands-down. The built-in applicator wand makes it easy to use: it works like a cross between a nail polish brush and the old-style honey wands. If you put a whole lot of product in one area of your skin, it will slowly (hour+) dribble down in the BEST spooky natural-looking drips. But if you don’t want any movement in your look, don’t slather it on too much. And I was outside in cold weather, so it may “move” faster if you’re inside somewhere warm. Again, this was after me slathering it on like jam on toast, trying to create a dramatic 3-D effect, so lighter usage will probably have minimal drip effects. But be mindful of clothes/costumes or angles of your body that liquids could drop from. It leaves zero red residue on your skin and comes off easily with wipes or normal face soap. Absolutely made my Halloween!

This has a very thick consistency which makes it hard to work with. I got it to try to cover a nostril piercing so I could put makeup on it and hide it. It does work OK, but the thickness makes it lumpy and it's hard to feather out the edges. It's not as discreet as one would like. If you're trying to go for effect makeup, like a scar or zombie face or something, it would work for that. Smooth to lumpy is ok, but not so much lumpy to smooth. It starts out very light beige and turns a bit darker and yellower as it dries. It's by no means my (or most people's) skin tone, so I think you'd have to put makeup on top no matter what. It does dry quickly, and is flexible and easy to remove.

A little goes a long way! Will prob last me years 😂😂 it’s SUPER thick! So it can be tricky to work with if you want it precise but easy enough! It’s. Super dark red almost black but makes it look much more realistic! Also does not stain skin and wipes off so easily I even done it with a baby wipe and it come off right away even after being on my face for 9 hours!
