Good tasting sauce. If you like it spicy and hot, this is for you. I like very hot and spicy salsa, and this one is very hot. Use sparingly. Spiciness on a scale of 1 to 10 is about an 8 for me, but keep in mind that every persons tolerance is different. This is not too thick of a sauce and can be used on a variety of foods, very versatile. This was actually a little spicier than I thought. Decent quality.

I love my spice, and I always look for sauces that bring real heat without sacrificing flavor. Elijah’s Xtreme Regret Reserve absolutely nails that balance. I haven’t tried every sauce they make yet, but this one is easily one of the best hot sauces I’ve ever had. The flavor is amazing. Rich, bold, and not just “hot for the sake of hot.” But this one has serious kick. It’s one of the only sauces that actually gets me sucking wind, and I painfully enjoy every second of it. If you want something slightly less intense but still very spicy, their Xtreme Regret is a great step down. The Regret Reserve is top-shelf, spice territory. I like it so much that I have it on Amazon autoship. I go through about one bottle a month because I put it on pretty much everything. Pro tip: TikTok sometimes has live sales where you can grab their sauces a little cheaper, but honestly, even at full price, this is totally worth it. If you’re looking for a very spicy hot sauce with incredible flavor, you’ve got to try this one. It’s become a must have for me.

The taste: I happen to like it though I did not expect a very familiar chorizo flavor that I haven’t been accustomed to in a long time. It is also very smoky. The hotness: I first tried a couple of dips during an entire dinner. I thought then that it wasn’t as hot as the label pretended to be. I tried 7 or 8 dips at a later date and I haven’t touched it since, probably because it really did burn a few of my tasting buds. This thing is really hot. Overall: well, I’m a mustard kind of guy, so this sauce isn’t something I would keep on buying. With this said, it makes for a nice change with the right food. It is however really too expensive for what this thing truly is.

It is definitely one of the hottest non-extract sauces out there. If you are looking for high heat and decent flavor this sauce is great.

Well, I didn’t realize I’d bought the Reserve. It’s a might hotter than the regular Elijah’s Extreme, which I actually find quite mild. This isn’t the hottest I’ve ever had, but it has a heat that sticks with you for about 3-5 minutes after the last bite. 10 out of 10 would recommend, but it’ll make you do a double take at the bottle if you were expecting the original blend.
