Very good bike - PROS and CONS list to help you decide
After a lot of research I decided to purchase the Niceday Recumbent Exercise Bike. First impressions:PROS:- the fit and finish were very good. Easy to put together - everything fit and instructions were the best I have seen in a while- assembly took about 45 minutes - instructions kept me from making any mistakes- bike packing was exceptional. Note to remove cardboard FIRST then you can remove certain parts easily from styrofoam.- the bike is really really very quiet and smooth- the bike is very stable. We have it in a room with carpet and the bike is stable - it moves very little and riders feel secure- the seat is easy to adjust to accommodate multiple riders- My wife is 5’2” and I am 6’0” and we are both very comfortable riding- foot pedals/ foot placement and foot straps are comfortable- easy in / easy out. Works well for me and my wife without making individual adjustments- The resistance is easy to change with a click while pedaling - easy to follow along with fitness videos when they ask you to change resistance- the resistance is good enough for beginners or for moderate exercise- CONS:- the LCD display is dark - hard to read unless room is well lit. Kinda don’t use the display much because of this.- Can’t see where you can see RPM rate. Some fitness vids state to follow along at a certain Revs per minute - have to do calculations from MPH- The seat and back rest is Ok. Not truly a con but nothing exceptional here.- the resistance tops out at a easier moderate. No Olympic training here. You need to plan to go longer and not harder with this equipment. If you want a high intensity bike for advanced - look elsewhere.- minor but not easy to see markings when adjusting seat for diff riders. Needed to stick some labels to make seat adjustments easierI would buy this bike again - and would consider other products from this company (Niceday) in the future.

Love this bike. I actually look forward to riding it.
I have no complaints about this bike. I had a hip replacement and my surgeon sent over a recumbent bike for pt.i have a regular stationary bike which hurt my lower back so I tried to avoid it. After using the one sent by the surgeon I decided to buy one. It rides smooth, noiseless, comfortable seat, one person wasn’t happy with not being able to see the mileage, time, etc too good. I bought a 2.00 light to clip on and it works fine. I can read a book if I care to. This is the first workout apparatus I actually enjoy using. My elliptical and old stationary bike are now sadly in the corner. I’ve been working out for years. I also run. This bike is honestly the best. The price is good too.

Good entry level bike. Seat needs more cusioning.
I bought this make and model of exercise bike because it isn't a 'smart' bike. You don't need WiFi or a subscription program to use it. It doesn't even need a wall outlet. The only powered thing on the bike is a small electronic monitor, which requires two AAA batteries. It has a very simple interface. Putting it together is mostly uncomplicated. There is a lot of tape holding the packing materials together, so keep a box cutter handy. It's also heavy to slide out of the box. I ended up cutting the whole side of the box open to slide it out upright. It comes with all the tools you need to put it together. When assembling the bike, my biggest challenge was putting the seat mount onto the base of the bike. The instruction manual indicates the seat saddle should be fixed to the seat mount before you install the mount onto the bike base. I found this almost impossible to do with the seat installed. I could not get the two bolts all the way through the frame straight. I tried doing this while holding the frame at an angle to see/feel what I was doing. I also tried it while lying on the floor. I eventually had to take the screws back out of the seat saddle and remove it from the seat mount to get the bolts all the way through the frame and nested correctly. You can only feed them through in one direction. One side of the frame rail has squared holes, while the other side is rounded. It is important to feed the bolts through from the squared side. The rounded side is for the nylock nuts to lock down on. Except for that hiccup, the rest of the setup made sense. If you get confused by the instructions, there is also an instructional video you can find on YouTube which shows the bike being put together. You can find it by searching, "Nice Day Recumbent Bike Installation." You'll see what I mean about the seat mount, though. It's easier to put it on the base if you leave the seat off until after the seat mount is attached the the base of the bike. One thing I find quirky about the finished bike is the large handlebar under the seat mount isn't fixed to one position. It can be rolled up and backward. This may be intentional to help someone with mobility limitations to slide onto the seat. When riding the bike, the handlebar floats as you grip the pulse sensor. Again, I do not know if that's a bug or a feature, but it doesn't impede the overall function of the bike. The seat provides plenty of stability whether or not you hang onto the handlebar. If the wiggling/floating bugs you, you could lay some felt between the handle bar and the mounting bracket that holds it to the seat base. The handle bar mounted under the electronic monitor is firmly fixed to its mount when the bike is assembled. The seat position is easily adjusted to the distance you need from the pedals for healthy body mechanics. You can't adjust the angle of the seat back. The bike is very quiet in use. It's easy to watch TV or listen to your phone or tablet while riding. My only complaint is that this saddle is like sitting on a high school bleacher. It needs more padding. You can find padded cushions for this type of saddle on Amazon. I'm going to try a silicone gel cushion with mine.In review videos, users have mentioned the tension range provides strong resistance. When I have it cranked all the way up, I call that 'moderate.' You can't simulate pedaling through tar or wet sand with it. That's still okay for a beginner who is just getting into fitness, or for someone who simply wants to maintain health and cardio. There are plenty of free exercise videos on YouTube that show how to incorporate your bike into a challenging workout. I won't call this an exercise bike you'd use to train for sustained uphill mountain riding. Persons looking for something like that aren't shopping in this price range.

Good value for the money
Bought this bike as part of my rehab program for upcoming knee replacement surgeries. I have only had a chance to do some casual riding to size the seat location. Bike is very well made, very solid. Came very promptly and extremely well packaged and protected. Bike is built like a tank, very robust and sturdy. Bike may not have all the bells and whistles of a more expensive bike but it does provide basic ride data, i.e., distance, speed, kcal expended, heart rate. Excellent value for the money spent. Bike went together pretty easily. It even came with a rudimentary set of wrenches to use for the assembly. All parts, bolts, nuts, washers etc. contained in kit. Instructions easy to follow. Bike is pretty heavy so you m ay need help to get it up steps. Used a dolly to get it up the front steps and into the house. Once I got it into my house I opened the package and took all the parts out and moved them piecemeal to facilitate movement to second floor of my house where I will use the bike.

Excellent product
I assembled this unit yesterday and got my first 30 minute workout on it this morning. Here are my impressions:Assembly directions are detailed and very accurate. The only issues I had was with bracket for holding the seat unit (item #20) in place. I spent a good bit of time searching through all of the parts thinking either I had misplaced it or it was not included, only to find it bolted in place to the unit. Also had the same issues with the screws to hold the digital screen, already in the back of that piece. As one reviewer has pointed out, getting the two bolts that hold the seat unit in place is a bit of a PITA. I strongly recommend lying down next to the unit to get a full view of the work area. Don't try to do it blindly by feel. Also as noted elsewhere, the bracket attached with two bolts to the front of the unit is meant to serve as a handle to get the unit in place. It is then removed and not used in the actual assembly. They also provide a good bit of extra fastener hardware so you will have a bit of a pile of stuff left over when completed. My first workout was very positive. I do a lot of road biking and have spent a lot of time in the off season on trainers and stationary bikes. Full disclosure, this unit is for my wife, but I expect to make regular use of it as well. This is my first experience with a recumbent. I found it to be very solid, smooth, and quiet. The tension range seems more than adequate for a good workout. I'm 5'11"/ 150 lbs. Being in a recumbent position will definitely take some getting used to but I expect it may offer less wear and tear on my aging hips.Areas for improvement: the floppy handles by the seat are a little weird. I guess it may be useful to get them out of the way... I wish the digital readout included cadence. I did connect with Kimomap without any issues. That seems to work pretty well but with a small delay in getting data from the bike to the kinomap display. So when you pick up the cadence, you won't see it reflected on the kinomap disply for 10 seconds or so. Kinomap does show cadence and watts. You get 2 weeks free then it is $12 per month. The manual shows that it can also connect with Zwift. The tray for holding an iPad, etc. would benefit from a wider rim at the bottom. Also be aware that this unit is heavy. It is maneuverable but takes some effort to get the back end up to move it around. Not a complaint, just a fact. All in all, highly recommended.P.S. After using this a few times, I can agree with another reviewer that mentioned how stiff the seat is. I definitely recommend an additional seat cushion. Keep in mind that the on a recumbent, your butt is parked on the seat and carrying most of your weight 100% of the time. There is no getting out of the saddle to give your butt a break as there is on a conventional bike.

Some good some bad
Love the bike, but it has a couple disappointing features. The good: it’s quiet, easy to ride, and easy to get on and off of. The bad: the seat bottom is quite uncomfortable, the display is absolute junk. Mine quit working on the 2nd day I had it. I need to use a timer or stopwatch on my phone to figure out how long I have been riding, and I have no idea of my distance, heart rate or anything else the display is supposed to show. It is frustrating because I like to do virtual challenges to motivate me but I need a distance for those. I have not tried the apps that are supposed to work with it so I can’t comment on those.

Great value for the money!
My husband and I were able to assemble the bike without any problems. So far it is comfortable and quiet. Easily fits us both; 5’ and 6’3”

Good value.
I'm very pleased. Assembly not difficult. All tools included. Easy instructions. Overall it's worth the money. For a senior it is heavy and help needed to move box to another floor. Also display does not have a back light so a nearby light is needed, That's the only negative. I would recommend it for seniors.

Tablero arcaico
