How do you teach them to heel with this harness? Do treats help or does a correction on the leash work better?

Most respond best to treats. Carry a few goldfish crackers in your pocket and give one as needed. Kids love those. xD

How long is the leash?

About 2ish feet. Not nearly long enough unless your tot is right beside you.

Is this a good size to take to preschool?

It’s rather small. It is fine for carrying a few toys or snacks around town, but it is not big enough for a standard 8 1/2” x 11” paper or folder. I got a regular size school backpack for preschool. Unless you don’t mind school papers coming home awkwardly folded into small clumps, haha.
