My boys (11 & 13) use these for basketball. They both say that they "help" but I couldn't really say for sure. They stay in place through running, jumping, and plenty of sweat. They wash well and don't seem to smell at all. Plus they're cheap enough that if they lose one it's okay!

They are convenient when the sun is intense and not necessarily want to change into long pants.

My son uses these legs sleeves for basketball. They wear and wash well. I would say size down to ensure they do not slide down while playing.

So, first of all, this is great price for the number of leg sleeves received. If your child is like mine, they will only wear one sleeve at a time. 4 sleeves (one white set and one black set). My son has been begging for leg sleeves and we tried this. They will do the job as he gets accustomed to them. They have a gripper on the inside to help hold them in place on the leg. However, my son is tall and thin. I ordered the size I need for length and the width of them is slightly large. The still held relatively well in place through a one day tournament with 2 full games played. I would definitely recommend them for kids that want to try a leg sleeve.

These were for my 11 year old basketball player. He wears them every game, in different ways. Much better price compared to other brands.
